I blame it on international breaks.

House sold. New house agreed. Chain at their end not complete.

New house has a shed that's falling apart.

Wife told me I'd need a new 8x6 minimum.

    Get in!

Perfectly normal procedure for international breaks.

    An off topic convo....

My darts team had a good win last night, Yorkshire doubles board, we play in the beverley mens league, beat dog and duck 8-3, they are a good team. That's a 9-2, a 6-5 and the 8-3 from last night, 3 wins, but we will have to wait for the daffodils to come up before we know if we will win the league.......heard that somewhere before, carnt remember where though !!!!!

PS how about football boots. The black ones are coming back. The day-glo (sp?) "look at me I am 17 and earning six squillion squid a week" ones are on the way out. Just watch. Black is back and technical is more important than style. Discuss. If I kicked a ball (before I turned 51) wearing some of the gay-glo (sp? PC?) they wear now I would have been killed by the proper players around me - the ones who trained - and that was fair frankly. And haircuts. Christ. Cultural symbols of religious or tribal significance have been great since Afro in 1976 but my god who does the heads of those twats in the Prem with their half and half nonsense????? So boots and hair. Thanks.

Good pub, good pub name. My mate has a thing for classic pub names, I'm always reminded of that bit in Peep Show where Superhans and Jez are starting their own pub.

"Do you really want to run a pub called 'Free the *****s? Shouldn't it be something more traditional like the...Swan and...Tomato?"
"Alright, alright, compramise: The Swan and *****."

Fave expression of the dog and duck darts team I think. As in "I don't give a dog and duck about who wins the league when those bloody daffodils come up I hate that Steve Bruce I do get him in here and I will show him a darts team I was once a real effing centre half......" And so on. 51. Made it.

That's a good off topic. Topic,( if that's grammatically correct, you've just got to love spell check) unusual pub names or pub names that can have an alternative meaning as in dog and duck... Don't give a ****
