Katy said last night that "2%" of Charlton fans are negative. I confidently predict that her sums are incorrect.
If they did turn it into a DVD, how about naming it in memory of a famous British film series? Did they ever make a Carry On Lying ?
Bit before my time, but I doubt that they made called it. Reckon that'll be a good name. But in all seriousness, what I'm proposing is a good idea. With protests, only those that are there will see it. I propose we make our protest global. Let the name Roland Duchâtelet be bad news where he roams or decides to buy.
So it seems Seth Plum was the person who branded us "disgusting" last night. Is this confirmed? Has he commented?
5 Academy products making their debuts in the 1st team this season is heralded by Meire as a "success" Shurely shome mishtake ....
40% increase in players budget. This is trumpeted as an achievement, when in fact it's due to the number of duds we've signed.
Why didn't they use the nice statistic I put together the other day. They brought in 41 players and only 2 have been successful. That's a 5% player success rate. That is abject failure.
I believe it was a club employee who branded the fans 'disgusting' for something that occurred at MK Dons. The academy players have been playing a lot as we have no cover for injuries, which I doubt has done them much good given the ongoing atmousphere. I can't actually be assed to watch the video (1hour 50 minutes - Lord Harlech would brand this a video nasty) but from what I've Heard, it was a sort of sweetner to take the wind out of everyone's sails at the start of the meeting. We have to keep calm in the face of the club's posturing, but really, the ongoing situation on the pitch and on the bench (we've just 'snapped up' a manager from Belgium's tier 3 FFS) hardly accords with the facts.
Good point about Diarra. Bauer is solid enough, but not spectacular. With the championship evolving every season the ball is on the deck hell of a lot more. Bauer would have thrived 10 years ago.
