Why me a lesser extent

 

A lot of people haven't really given much feedback on others at the moment which isn't helpful if they are town.

Even if if they don't have much read on others still useful to hear opinions.

Astro, Bobby, acs, gooner all been very quiet compared to normal (excluding gooner who not played before).

 

Indeed. If the four work in unison, it can only be replicated/countered bythe Donaldsons. If they dared to do that then we could very quickly ID all 4. So they either have to sit and watch, or risk all going down.

Come on Tavern Team, time to step up. I know you cannot reveal roles, but 4 people with the same view must be acceptable.

 

Why is it not certain when the rules specifically point out that they are likely to be bad

You think if 10 people had joined late Neville would just say "oh bad luck evil teams the town got an extra 10 players you're kinda ****ed"?

I think the point being made is that there are no guarantees as you have claimed of Musty and/or me being bad but is pure speculation on your part. There is some logic to it but just as much as the reverse being the case.

Can't speak for Musty but have already said where I stand and I think my posts support that.

 

And I've never claimed either one of you is definitely evil

The most likely is one of you is evil and one good

But we also know for sure that neither one of you is an important good guy

So with you we have roughly 50% chance of lynching a bad guy and 0% chance of lynching an important good guy

With anyone else chosen at random it's roughly 70% chance of lynching a good guy and 50% chance of lynching an important good guy

Some people can do a bit better than these odds based on private information but overall who is offering a better strategy?

Sorry, where in the rules does it specifically say that? All I can see is this:

Town Visitors

Nobody knows who town visitors will be aligned to at the start of the game. Town Visitors begin the game staying in the town tavern (without access to the Tavern board). This will change after nightone.

 

What if Nev decides to replace one of the coachman or bank guards? That could be important?

 

The part where is says "Nobody knows who town visitors will be aligned to at the start of the game"

And the fact that Neville has planned for visitors to join the game from the very start but you can't have a balanced game where everyone who joins goes automatically to the town team

If they both turn out innocent then the game basically started with 19 town members, and the next biggest teams being bandits with 5 each. So the town is almost 4 times as big as each bandit team, and the bandit teams need to attack each other as well as the town. Highly unlikely setup in my opinion, expecially since there are so many town sub-teams with information about each other, and the cat burglar and SK could also easily wipe out the bandit teams' strength if they hadn't killed themselves so early.

If you have a better strategy than the one I'm suggesting then feel free to post it, but denying it is just moronic and looks like you have a specific agenda

I simply asked where in riles it "specifically states" they must be evil, which is what you said. Turns out you are hypothesising.
Actually, I did the same yesterday and initialy voted for Musty, for that reason, so I am not against the idea.
I just feel that seeking out Donaldsons is top priority, and as the stronger of the two gangs, I think it less likely they are going to be given another resource.

That is my logic.I understand yours too.

However, your aggressive approach and spouting of rules when it is really you opinion is concerning me. Just seems like you are protecting somebody in the firing line - whether good or bad,

 

I've been saying the exact same thing since day 1 so who is now suddenly in the firing line that I need to protect?

Been busy at work so haven't posted for a few hours but have been thinking about the actions of some players last night, can't get away from Tash, he's getting an incredibly easy ride at the moment.

His behaviour last night was text book bandit, been quiet all game until he's about to get lynched and haven't heard a peep from him since. I think he's the most obvious bandit out there.

 

Agree there is some sense in that.

Are we, the Town, going to aim for one person or aim for two/three. I feel second strategy better as more chance of involving a bad guy and watching voting patterns.

I would be putting Chippy and Tash up plus possibly one other. Anyone have any views one way or the other.

I only meant that you usually make more suggestions and throw in theories that spark debate. Haven't noticed as much this time, but with so many posts it's easy to miss some.

As I said, it is a Town read, just less positive than some others I am more sure of.

 

I definitely think it makes sense to have Tash, ACS and maybe BRB leading the vote, if two of them are bandits there will definitely be late movement from the bandits to save them.
