I agree we should be defending a maximum of two places, but should the bank not be one of them?

I'd say the doctor and sheriff have big roles to play, if the sheriff isn't paid he can't investigate, is this right? What about the doctor, if he's not paid does it impact on any of his potential actions?

I ended up trying to catch up on some work after all you kiddies went to bed!!

 

I don't know what the voting situation is regarding my 3 suspects but I think ACS has the most votes of the three.

I vote ACS.

I can't keep repeating myself, I've put all my thoughts out there, whether people read or ignore them is up to them but I'm not going to keep repeating the same stuff.
It's up to you guys now to decide if you agree with my strategy or not.
I think it's a good one as Bandits need money desperately due to the number of shootouts and as a result to replenish bullets. If we deny them money they have very few options available to them, and due to our superior numbers we should be able to pick them off.

I don't believe the Bank is a realistic target to try defend, I think we'll just get our own guys killed and hand the money to the bandits. The bank is running out of money as no more can come in, I don't see the point in trying to defend it for one more night and just splitting our forces. rather use up the money on bullets, concentrate our forces and let the Sheriff and Deputy buy their own bullets once they get converted to Traders.

Anyway that;s my opinion, if you guys think there's a better one then feel free to go for it but I think we should discuss it at least. No use some solo guys going off and trying to defend a building by himself, hes just going to get taken out. We need to have a decent strategy for town.

People will argue that we should keep our strategy secret from the bandits but we have no way to communicate (while they do), plus we have the numerical advantage so as long as we play this smart we can have this game sewn up in a day or two (if bandits attack a bunch of us they'll wipe themselves out).

Let's just be smart about this...

 

The bank manager must pay the Sherrif and deputy from the bank's vaults. Once no money (or manager) remains the law enforcement team is disbanded and they become regular traders.

 

The doc stops being paid so loses any income (and abilty to buy bullets) - he is a doc though so will still carry on with his work regardless - hypocratic oath and all that. Only the law enforcement team leave their roles.

 

I'm happy with this game plan, it's logical and makes sense so no complaints from me

 

Re finances

The bank started the game with $400 in each vault. They have paid out $200 per night in wages. The traders know if their money has been collected and the bank manager knows if it has been sent.

No robberies have been reported other than the one where the thief died in a fire.

In which case, Tennis' plan is a good one because the Bank manager is a sitting duck tonight and once dead, we have no money from the bank anyway.

 

As Chippy is on my suspect list and I have no firm favourite on that list.

OK, so based on Nev's updates, I am leaning towards Tdnnisball's strategy.

It does leave the bank money highly exposed and I don't know how much power that might hand to the bandits though

Regardless, we do need to keep numbers strong in a few places in the hope that any shoot out takes out a few bandits.

Are there worse consequences for leaving bank exposed than other buildings? I think saloon staf can also defend other propertiesif they wish? So we could have a strong force if united.
