    The HDM are reporting:

"Elsewhere in the city, Burger King in St Stephen's Shopping Centre has applied to Hull City Council for an alcohol licence."

At the end of their article about the BK opening in West Hull.

Anybody see this being a good move?

Tickles (I know it's not KFC but you'll probably have enough knowledge)?

How long does it take to eat a Burger King meal compared to drinking alcohol at normal speed?
Given all the hassle to have a proper range it's not worth the effort. I suppose they'll only sell small bottles of beer.

Pete, could you define normal speed?

I've just necked a pint of cider in well under 10 seconds.

    Bloody lovely it was too.

Mind, I've had a hard day.

An' I'll certainly no' be having a Burger King fa' us tea, neither.

In most of Europe it's normal for McDonalds and Burger King to sell beer.

I tend to avoid fast food places in Europe - except for services and airports.
In the Morrisons in Gibraltar they have a proper bar
I would say normal speed is 15 minutes
I'd never drink cider anywhere it's sickly stuff

Blimey, after 21 lagers, I doubt you'd taste the cider anyway, never mind with the beers on top. <yikes>

I've noticed that in my travels.

Often wondered why they didn't here.

Also we have smarties, dairy milk and crunchy mcflurries (plus the monthly promotional one).... Spain has an M&M Peanut one and its waaaayyyy nicer. Pointless info of the day.

Fantastic. I've never smoked and haven't had a drink for a long time. I just need to get more exercise and go on a diet.
