Off Topic Coyote Canyon Game Thread

The problem for me there is if I do a list then I potentially reveal the priest. I'm not going to do that.

I have very little readings on people, I rarely do unless I know the player. TBF, there are a few players involved that I know quite well but everyone seems to be less talkative in this game, probably because everyone has a role.

I do believe I've spotted a couple of links between players. Again, not something I want to reveal right now as I want to keep an eye on it.

 

The one flaw I see is that ACS can be a random hjt-and-miss type. Plus he was out most of yesterday znd maybe not caught upproperly. Sowhat ic he is Town randomly voting for you and then you are Town and retaliate? We potentially lose 2 and learn nowt.

The thing about links is they can be good or bad. But at least it helps with patterns.

 

Yeah that's true. I just think anyone targeting me needs valid reasoning and bodanki and acs haven't got any. For me that raises question marks about them.

 

One thing I have learned is never vote ACS unless you genuinely mean it based on a read/info.He'll just vote strIght back at you and lead a charge for all to follow.

 

The bank and inn/brothel are the 2 key town areas ..The first for distributing cash to sheriff ( if we can't via the traders cash box) ..The 2nd for sheer cash production (combined $600 per day)

So there is some value in townie traders concentrating there positions within those 2 places over night ...ie traders etc as additional defenders and almost let the bandits have free rein over low value businesses (bandits going for low level targets helps town as it provides more time to investigate/spot patterns etc etc. Ie the longer the game goes on the better for town almost ..especially as SK is gone)

That all said ..iam not sure if cash is that important as the gunfights seem pretty quick n deadly ..sooo ..There might be still plenty if cash available in bandit teams for recruitment/ bullets

 

By going to sanctuary ..did you learn the name of the priest?

It is suspiscious to me too, but not everyone sees things in the same way. You have to put yourself in othets shoes where you might be the one they don't trust. Don't jump to conclusions until we see more bshaviour. I will watch them too.

 

I'm confident you are town also. Problem is, others can't see what we see so us backing each other up will just feed their conspiracy that we are both bad guys. Not much we can do about it, nor can we vote.

 

Everyone as just been asked to provide their opinion with myself and GCB being singled out as partially announced innocents

Neither of us can vote today and there is a recruit tonight so that link between us is only there verbally for today.

 

You argued pretty heavily against afc initially ...afc turned out town ..so that might have summat to do with it... vs people's suspicions

Playjng devils advocate. What's the issue about you potentially revealing the priest. If he's attacked then he can defend himself and are consequences wasn't that what was said? It'll also give us a known innocent etc.

Im not saying I want him to reveal etc, just that what's the negative v positive if he is revealed?

Seems to me that Obi is trying now to distance himself from ACS in the hope that they aren't both thought guilty by association. I vote ACS.

 

Good point about the finances. I don't know where we stand, but we need to pay to have the sheriff and deputy, so it's critical.

@Less Hope Than Neville are we allowed to have an update on Town finances? I'm sure the bandits know theirs via QT boards as that usually happens in these games, but we have no clue where we stand and whether we need to cordinate a plan for defences, et .

Yes, he can protect himself but he's not unkillable either. We need to preserve what we know until we're in a position of strength. ATM, I think the Donaldsons have the ball in their court.

Also, revealing now would be stupid. The bandits get to recruit tonight so anything the priest currently knows (aka GCB and my role) will be wasted by day four anyway.

Interesting that you're sort of encouraging me to reveal the priest though.
