I had loads of problems with New Vegas GOTY mate. The expansion in Utah with the burned man had a shocking amount of freezing. The Sink never did but Christ that expansion drove me around the wall because I entered it really early into my game, I think I was on level 4 and it took me an age to finish it and nearly drove me to ****ing despair.

Probably my two least favorite expansions on new vegas. The Honest hearts one in Utah was boring as hell, you didn't miss much if you ****ed it off. I loved the lonesome road. Dead money was proper strange but I enjoyed it. But my expansions were fine. It was the settlement areas in the main game which would be problematic. I took online advice not to tackle any expansion until level 12. Then I dove right in.

I'm hearing the game is great but more of the same in terms of the frustrating freezing/crashing/ along with frame rate and bugging issues.

Hopefully the patches will sort it. They shouldn't release products that aren't sound. They're all at it too whether it be hardware or software.

Judging by the supposed size of the map, I wouldn't imagine things to ever go smoothly from day zip. There's going to be teething problems with open-world games of any sort, I'm sitting here in my office now and if the postie shows up without my copy, he's getting filled in and thrown down a flight of stairs.

Might take a couple of days to replace the ...missing In action, postie ...mind

Better to bide your time time and concentrate your hatred on your current postie ...delivering the rightful wrath and punishment ..After ..He finally delivers it

Started my download, read a few reviews late last night; general opinion is it's simply slightly better than 3/NV. Better GFX, better VATS system, more interactions. They have just smartened it - conversation trees are conversations, rather than "which should I pick to get what I want". Factions are less like side-quests and instead are intrinsically linked to the main event. The start is much more of a slow burn, running from a battle is more of a necessity than before, and the whole thing is just a bit more 'live it' than the predecessors.

I don't like our postie anyways, this is the perfect opportunity for me to instill a bit of natural selection and upgrade our mail delivery service.

There's loads of kebab shops just down the road, they'll take care of the 'meat'.

Very true. I've played fallout 3 that many times I remember up coming glitches on approach and know how to avoid them. The frame rate thing is impossible to cope with though. It's why I've never finished new vegas. Well, that and the **** storyline.

I now have Fallout 3 mate, it comes free with 4 as a backwards compatible download. I'll be running both and comparing.

My wife thinks I'm making her Fajitas tonight, which is a huge shame, for her.

Never looked to be honest, I'll buy her a box of Miniature Heroes on the way home, she can't get angry at that.

An update fella? What's better and what's worse? How is the emphasis on flight? Is there much air traffic?
