The mad Italian has offered to sell his majority stake to a Leeds supporters group. Can't see it myself, would take ? £35 million at least. If I remember that doesn't include the ground either.
Pajero is Spanish slang for someone who fiddles with themself. Which actually means everybody, on occasion.
I understand now Thought I had got my facts wrong. Spot on, in fact. What is a "Pendejo" then? Mi hablo espenol, pero mi vocabulareo es limitado.
Seen it. Didn't really make the biggest impression and I do like Jeff Bridges as an actor. I assume Pendejo comes from that.?
Yes, although it's not a big deal. Maybe you need to see it again? It certainly the pinnacle of Jeff Bridges career, IMO.
As it happens, I'm always willing to give it another go because of Bridges. I remember watching K-Pax, also with Bridges and Kevin Spacey and thought it was a complete waste of time. Then I watched it again several years later and loved it. Obviously my mood was right. Could be the same requirement for TBL.
http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/...of-concussion-and-head-injuries-a6728341.html America is banning children from heading the ball in football. Not questioning their decision as I don't know how often injuries happen, but not sure how you can avoid heading the ball by accident. Is the ref supposed to penalise a child who jumps and makes contact with the ball. Presumably the ball will only be played along the ground. Expert questioned by Sky said most injuries are sustained by head to head contact and not by hitting the ball. He also said such injuries can be quite fatal....no, can be fatal or not fatal, but not quite fatal.
A bit embarassing for owners of a Mitsubishi Pajero. Guess they might be called something else in Europe.
No Barcelona player has ever won La Liga's player of the month award. They only introduced the award two years ago in Spain but you'd have thought they'd have got one in what 20?- attempts considering they are fairly successful & err rather good................where do they vote, in Real Madrid's board room!
I saw a great stat that the managers of the 3 Lancashire "B" clubs - Blackburn, Burnley and Bolton - were born within four days of each other. Not any more.
Leicester scout claiming they pipped Southampton to the signature of Jamie Vardy for £1 m in summer 2012 from Conference side Fleetwood Town.
Here in Spain, Athletic Bilbao have one of the hottest young players in Europe, Inaki Williams. The national paper, El Mundo, was certainly full of critical acclaim for this player. What caught my eye was his salary. 185,000 euros a year!! I wonder what English players of his generation are earning. JWP for example? I am sure considerably more. The paper suggested that Athletic give him a much improved and long contract, and Del Bosque makes sure to incorporate him in the full international squad because he is available to play for Ghana given his parental background.
