You won't be surprised to know that no members of either this forum or ITTV have been invited to question Pinnochio and the Stooge tonight.

Rest assured however, because we are in safe hands. CAST windbag (elected by nobody) Richard Pemberton @rikofold informs us portentously and apparently without irony that he has agreed the format of tonight's meeting with Katrien Meire.

I say it again, CAST are a group of sad, fat underachieving Mummy's Boys desperate to be associated with rich people at any costs, who represent nobody apart from themselves and their own egos.

    **** off <applause>

Riko is welcome to his moment of glory. To sit and be patronised by those two for a couple of hours would make me run out screaming. By the way he deleted his accusation that you led a campaign against Curbs. No apology.

Richard and I have now had an exchange on Twitter.

The guy is a pompous & sanctimonious windbag , totally lacking in self awareness, who doesn't realise how stupid he sounds with his "I have agreed with Katrien" comments.

They gave their game away at the bottom of their latest leaflet....the owners are unwilling to accept their (CASTs) 'professional help and skills'

This is possibly the one and only time I am in agreement with Meire.

Okay, I have no complaint about CAST being there. But tthat they are negotiating the format of the meeting (according to CL) sounds as if they are ploughing ahead with their agenda to the detriment of the other fans who don't agree with them.
having said all that, I honestly doubt there will be much of any use tonight. Our win against Sheff Weds will give Murray and Meire the chance to claim that everything is going according to plan, and that the protests are pointless. To an extent, that is true, as things are going to RD's plan, and he won't give a fig about a bunch of penniless fans whingeing about his faliure to pay attention to them. Tonight could be an opportunity to put some serious questions to KM, but if Murray decides to be a human shield again, and CAST just want to butter them up with a view to future meetings, it'll be a waste of time.

Riko and Prague probably have the hump because the protest went so well without them.

I am fed up with reading what that pompous, self satisfied, wind bag Prague says on CL. He didn't like the protest, but it was an honest statement by real Charlton fans against the current regime. It has made Meire aware that we are not just going to accept what they do. What everybody needs to do is put our EGOS aside and do what is best for CHARLTON. But some Charlton fans can't get over the fact that they do not feature at the Club anymore.

It turns out that @rikofold had his own private meeting with Katrien Meire yesterday <cheers>

Wow...and who said CAST was a secretive and elitist politburo of numpties.

Prague has also said that his best richest buddy Dicky Murray will be hurt to read all the nasty comments about him.

I have invited @rikofold to debate with us on here, and divulge the contents of his secret meeting with Katrien yesterday.

The same Richard Murray who was preparing to sell the Valley to recoup his losses? The same fans' hero? I don't think he'll be too deeply hurt.

Like the last meeting, it's not going to achieve anything. I expect us to be saying the same thing next year (quite possibly the year after).

Interesting to find out how many members have dropped out of the CAST over the years. I know I for one have, over their ineptitude to handle the last saga of the Luzon appointment. They were rattling "change" but did they. From then, I trust their word about as much as Doucébags.

I still find it funny that they don't invite other communities like us. Evidently we are quite a close knitted community that do represent a portion of the Charlton supporting population. Is it that we're too hard-lined in our approach they they couldn't cope with the questions they'd get from us?

I've said this a couple of times, a new supporters trust needs to be created, a new one to cope with the digital age that can represent and connect with the young "future" supporters. One that is transparent and free for anyone to join. And more specifically, one to rival this archaic one we current have.

Why couldn't we have a large public meeting with Meire, open to all Charlton fans?

I am not sure that anybody would want to 'butter up' Cuddles because let's face it! ..... she is no Maria Schneider!!

Now we know why CAST would not support the fan's protest last Saturday.

It was because they had a secret meeting lined up with Katrien Meire on the Monday.

(Described by @rikofold as ' a friendly 5 min chat at the end of a meeting about the Olympic Stadium')

That 'friendly chat' phrase tells us all we need to know about the Judases from CAST.

They probably wouldn't have supported it, because they never came up with. Irrespective of their secret meeting, I doubt they be behind it.

Do you think that the rise of these independent fan movements is because we don't have strong enough backing, leadership or lack of faith in the trust?

Valid point. Surly they can create a podium in the middle of the valley pitch and open two of the stands, or more if they had more people wanting to come.

Fear. They probably expect a few trolls will turn up and heckle and shout abuse (we're football fans, it's what we do) so they've opted for this approach. Sadly, this will just antagonise further, and I fear the idea will be to spend two pointless hours discussing the sofá, the tea, the scoreboard and other pointless topics. I can barely imagine any point in attending this to be honest.

20 fans are going tonight...looking at the list...I have heard of 3 of them.

Iain and Jean from the FF, and Syd Cheeswright God Bless Him who has no teeth and must be 90.

Pointless. Can't wait to see the minutes.
