I don't think that he's right, as our squad lacks a little balance and depth in places, but the response is quite telling.
Nobody actually has anything to say, except for general disagreement.
Arsenal don't normally get outplayed like that at home, even when they lose. It's normally a counter-attacking team that does them.
Sod Jamie Vardy, can we sign up their physios and fitness staff? 98%?! Did one player get a dead leg or something?

No Europe, out of League Cup in 2nd round and the FAC in the 5th. Makes a difference.

To get a point at The Emirates and be disappointed shows how far we've come. I thought we were fantastic yesterday, the commitment from the players after their 3rd game in 6 days was unbelievable and we dominated the match for 75-80 minutes against a very good Arsenal side that despite missing players, weren't that depleted in terms of their starting XI and probably had the same amount of first teamers that may start regularly out injured as we did (Bellerin, Walcott and Ramsay to Bentaleb, Mason and Son). With a couple of Giroud headers aside they never troubled us while the likes of Toby, Eriksen, Kane and Dier all had chances to score for us as we dominated the play. Everyone played really well but I thought Dembele stuck out as the MOTM for me, he's in great form at the moment and I thought he dominated the midfield, winning the ball and moving it forward quickly countless times.
A shame we switched off for their goal, Gibbs got in behind Walker and Lloris should've saved it comfortably but we'll learn from it and move forward.

A point at their place is always a good point, even if we deserved all three.

  4. Poch seems to have got this Spurs side to the same level of fitness that had Saints punching above their weight.

We've got to cut out the silly defensive errors, when you go ahead, and learn to keep our shape and concentration. It's so frustration, because it seems like everytime we go ahead, we're never more than a silly goal away from letting the other side back into the game!

Sure does. We qualified for the CL by going out the 2 domestic cups in the first round

The two seasons we finished 4th, we had an FA Cup run up to the SFs.

In 2009-10 we weren't in Europe, while in 2011-12 we went out of the League Cup in one game and sent out the reserves in the Europa League.

I wouldn't worry about Leicester, There's always one team that starts well and then drops off. Southampton last season, Newcastle a few years ago even Wigan were top 3 at one point. If you look at Leicester's fixtures they've had a dream start, I think they've only played us and Arsenal and failed to win both, have a look at their fixtures end of November/December they'll be lucky to be top 6 come christmas

I agree in part, but they ended last season in great form and they score goals for fun. This run has last 25 games or so - it's no flash in the pan.

Belief is everything, agreed. I think it’s growing, but we’ll see.

I’ve been saying for a long time the players are good. Now I think they may not be quite as good as they’ve looked lately. When a coach gets his team to outwork their opponents, the chances of them fading down the stretch are high, especially when they have the Europa to play.

I think we need to rotate. As good as Alli and Dembélé have been, Son is as good and Mason may be a better fit beside Dier. Add in Davies as 1b to Rose’s 1a, and we have 14 first team level players, with Chadli and Wimmer not miles behind. Get a good striker to give Kane a rest, or even consider playing Son in his place, get a good right footed CB, mix in two to four of them whenever there’s fixture congestion, and we have a better chance of keeping up the quality of play through the whole season.

It was a hardfought game. Having a player who could win the ball, then slalom through the other team’s attempts to dispossess him, made a big difference for us. So I thought Dembélé was MOTM as well. Kane probably next.

There was one sequence where Dembélé not only did all that, but took it (almost) straight up the pitch quickly before laying it off smartly, to Walker, I think. I couldn’t help wondering where this player has been hiding. My quintessential Dembélé memory at WHL was him winning the ball, then taking it from one end of the pitch to the other. He started at midfield all the way to the left, and finished at midfield all the way to the right before tapping it backwards.

Whether you think it's right or wrong/ agree or disagree, it was pretty inevitable that something was going to happen after that lot ripped down our hoardings.

I'm gonna be petty & immature though by laughing at it while saying "serves you right".

What's the point in smashing up the facilities in the away end at the Emirates?
The scum don't use them, Spurs will end up paying for it and some poor arsehole's got to clean it up.

They did what they could in order to show their dissatisfaction at how the nomads treated WHL.

I don't think it goes deeper than that.

You don't get much in this game for taking the moral high ground.

    Respect, maybe?
I deplore this kind of behaviour, whoever the perpetrators may be, and whatever the provocation.

I get that Audrey,Spurf.....id be with you on most days. I don't think you even get respect.

I wouldn't encourage anyone to do it...but I understand what instigated it.

    Tis all I mean.
