1-0, CJM scores from a Snodgrass cross.

Snodgrass off after on 57 minutes and Aluko makes it 2-0 from the spot.

How did he look Rosie, how was his movement? I was supposed to be going but got waylayed by my new grandson, and I have to say he was worth it.

Afraid I can't tell you, I'm just going by Twitter updates. I know Snodgrass put CJM in once before he scored his goals as well, so assume his deliveries were alright.

    2-1 now.

House prices on the east of Hull are about half what they are on the west of Hull.

All over em first half. Snodgrass looks class. Wore this weird kneecap support.
Aluko as wasteful as ever, CJM is like his mini me. Both had poor efforts from good balls in. Tymon looked good first half, good engine on him.
Second half credit to Crewe they dominated a lot of it.
Pen for a foul on CJM.
Great bit of skill from Bowen, on for Snods, brings it down out of the air turns his man and then hits it straight at the keeper.
Bad mistake from Tymon for their goal, weak back pass. His head went down but he battled through it. He'll get better and better.
Clark is a bit of a conundrum, good tackles good positioning but a lot of poor passes.
    Luer didnt do much.
Dunno whether Aluko and Snods upset the team rythmn.
Bit nervy at the end. I didnt want extra time...

Bit of a generalisation but it seems to me that the west of anywhere tends to be more desirable then the east. West Hull, West London, West coast of USA, South West of UK, west coast of Scotland, West Germany (in the day), and so on...

That just about sums it up Chazz, wasn't easy to play in that wind. Snodgrass got better and better during the first half and City were well worth the win. Clark hasn't so far push on from his early promise, thought Dixon looks good. Tymon had a good first half, but seemed to fade a bit second half. The back pass that gifted their goal, was him just trying to pass back from the half way line into the wind.

First half I sat in the stand half way between the half way line and the goal city were attacking, same side as Snodgrass. Second half after a pint in the bar, went and stood in the stand level with the penalty area were city were attacking. Where were you?
