So a feller with a microphone in his hand and another carrying a camera ask you what you thought about the game, you would have a choice to either walk past them or give a reasoned response.

What the flying **** did the ****e he came out with have to do with how poorly his team have been playing, he is a tosser and is now out of work, I'm sure he'll be glad he said what he did, I mean it was so relevant to Chelsea's struggles.

    Give the feller a knighthood.<ok>

Hate messages? Jesus. Really stretching the meaning of the word hate now.

It will get to a stage where nobody speaks to anyone just incase someone is upset and offended.

Because his side had just been bummed and he was pissed off...

Do you remember the video of the Liverpool fan Astro poster after Gerrard's slip? Remind me of the reaction on here, thanks.

I'm referring to the video of the Liverpool fan referring to Chelsea as rent boys. Now, Not only is this offensive to Chelsea fans its also quite homophobic. Yet it wasn't seen that way, it was seen as the angry reaction of a fan who's side had just lost. We all laughed and thought he was a **** but did he get sacked (let's assume he had a job). Did the Evening Standard do an article on him?

I think we all know the answer.

Everyone asked for an opinion at whatever club have a choice to walk past, people that do have a rant don't speak for all their fellow supporters.

Was he a top lawyer? The difference is huge, I'm surprised you don't understand that. Any ordinary Joe can say it with impunity but if you're a lawyer or other professional you just can't say that in public. Incidentally had he said 'Asian scum' he would have been done for a Public Order Act offence .

Of course they do, however, some situations are more likely to cause a reaction.

Like passionate football fans after a loss. Or when people suffer loss. Or after break ups etc, some situations lead to even the most level headed people letting their emotions get better of them.

Do you think its right people are sacked for things like that? Do you not think there's a better way to deal with this sort of thing?

If the guy had been mocking Hillsborough or something horrific like that, I would agree fully. However I think there's something very wrong about getting sacked for what you do and say in your personal life, as long as it has not broken the law. Calling scousers scum, while not the brightest or most witty insult, isn't illegal.

He's not inciting hatred, he's not demand attacks on the people of Liverpool.

There has to be more to it. Unless his boss was a Liverpool fan <laugh>

It was part of the original story I didn't go looking for it or his twitter account - they published quotes and images from the pages in the original report.

That's because that would have been illegal. what he said wasn't. Not even close.

And so what if he's a top lawyer or the guy who empties the bin at McDonalds. It would be wrong regardless.

Which is where I got it from too. Had he said anything truly abhorrent they would have mentioned it no doubt.

He called you scum on video. I doubt anyone was offended.

He said the older ones look like Saville. Could have been a reference to *****philes but just as likely a dig at classic scouse fashion.

He said the city is inbred. Hardly worth getting worked up over. The US southern states would have declared was on the whole world by now if it was.

You're still not getting it are you? People who are employed as legal representatives can't be seen to be bigots.

Anyway I'm sure he'll be snapped up for Big Brother or Strictly very soon <ok>
