Maybe it's me looking at it from a skewed angle, but I do find that [some] supporters are a little uncomfortable with a bit of success and consequent expectation. The amount of oo-er we might lose style posts I read [remember, I'm supposed to read them all, so you'll forgive me if I sometimes scan] is quite surprising to me because the poster has forgotten to put the alternative oo-er, we might not lose. And the last time I looked we were 7th in the league and moving upward, as per usual. I might do a poll on people's Saints optimism. How to format it though.???
That doesn't allow for most Saints fans....we know our glass is full, but we expect some bastard to drink it if we ever allow ourselves to get confident.
Yeah, I know what you mean, but I was thinking about a public poll where people could honestly put where they feel they are, in terms of their optimism. After all, it's an international break and some people are going to be climbing the walls by the end of the fortnight.

Can I put out there the idea - as far out as it might seem - that maybe Yoshi is playing in the right position, and everyone else is playing True - they also can't see us, so it works both ways. I wonder which team in the league with a red or striped kit has the highest number of colour blind players. In which case we could hope to beat them by a heavier amount when playing them away.
