Yet you come on and state "enjoy... ****e football" inferring that you lot are playing better than us? Which you're not. We've been better than you for the last two games and we've lost both yet you e drawn and won. I actually thought we played well going forward against Everton and looked solid at the back against Southampton except for 2 bad decisions we'd have got something from that
To be fair, apart from a couple of games, our performances have definitely not yielded the results we "deserve". The win yesterday was just for our previous matches! However, we really were played off several parks against Bournmouth and I can only hope we pick it back up again. Looking touch and go for you guys. To me you are like cockroaches after a nuclear blast (you always survive) but Sham has to pick up results soon!
Here's my take on the game yesterday. I think after the previous week we were going to keep it tight. I think Big Sam would have been reasonably happy with a point as he is looking to build a foundation moving forward. Pants was solid in goal...pulled a good save off about 15 mins into the game. It's interesting how Pickford's name is coming more and more to the fore. We have to generate funds I feel for a big splash in January. Maybe this could come from the sale of Pants and put Pickford in? Certainly worth a though as the lad has kept 6 clean sheets on the bounce now. The defense was tighter than the previous week obviously. Thought Kaboul had a great game. The combination of him and Coates at the back can work more at home than maybe away. When we go to Palace next the pace of Bolassie against Coates is a major concern but we all know that in January we need a center back with pace....maybe two. You will always struggle in the Premier League at the back if you don't have this. Would Rodwell work on this position.....maybe this is our stop gap till January. If that doesn't work then he needs to go as well. Take what we can for him and move on. How we spent so much money for him I will never know but these sorts of signings have got to have Ellis thinking over his pint.....pissing money away. In midfield if we have Gomez and Toivenon in there we are going to struggle. We need a player in there that can get past our striker for flick ons etc. We don't have this and haven't had it for a long time. Johno is getting back to match fitness which is good to see. M''Vila continues to be our best player.....he made a mistake but the lad is human. Just need to move on....he has the ability if he stays to be a legend... Thought Watmore looked a bit nervous which is very understandable but so pleased he got a run out. At long last we have looked to youth and long it may continue. I think reading between the lines with Watmore playing the full 90 and Defoe on the bench....Defoe is going to get moved on in January. I have a feeling that there is going to be quite an overhaul in the January window and mainly it's down to the reason Sam gave yesterday....we are playing with too much fear. I don't think the players we have and had on the books over the last four seasons are going to change that....so he's going to go for the shock treatment in the window. Yes, I know the substitution of Fletcher got booed but for me to see his performances now....that he needs a new contract I feel cheated that he could have been producing this a long time ago... Like Big Sam and I like the way he's going about things....still think we will all be happy in May....just let Sam get on with it....
First of all, I should say that that comment was directed at a different poster who was pissing me off (can't remember where or why I said it now). Unfortunately mate, us Newcastle fans have first hand experience of Allardyce. We know that the best case scenario for you is results that are just good enough, but a brand of football that makes you want to put a bullet in your brain. You can argue this point all you like, but we all heard the boos after narrowly losing to an excellent Southampton yesterday We have been awful this year but played some decent football at times. On the deck and attack minded. It hasn't yielded results. But I'll take it over Fat Sham any day.
Wel "mate" I have 3 very close family friends who are Bolton season ticket holders who think Sam is great and loved the football they played. Always exciting. So basically what you're saying is utter ****e. You are judging him on his time with you yet some West Ham and Bolton fans see things very differently. Wasn't at the match so can't comment on the boos. Sam said himself that we were rubbish and deserved nothing. This, in itself, makes us more likely to put it right as the gaffer is seeing what we are seeing
Okocha, Djorkaeff, (briefly) Hierro, a rejuvenated Anelka mixed with passionate stalwarts, winning games and punching above their weight; I'm sure Bolton fans have good memories of SA. Blackburn fans less so but he came into a club which had no money and poor youth set up, look where they are now. Didn't NUFC sink into the chill waters of after he wasn't given a chance?
Cardew is now the self appointed expert of everything to do with Allardyce despite only seeing Newcastle on TV like other people with tellies
Newcastle held back Allardyce just as they did with Pardew .......... the supporters are so deluded they never consider that they're ever wrong.
Delusion: "an idiosyncratic belief or impression maintained despite being contradicted by reality or rational argument, typically as a symptom of mental disorder." So where am I being contradicted by reality or rational argument? Yours is not a rational argument - it is based on a dislike for an ex-manager. I have listened to opinions of a Newcastle fan (in you) who saw him for a little time and didn;t like him. Listened to Bolton and West Ham fans who saw him for longer - the Bolton and (some of) West Ham fans argue with your point - can't find many (if any) Bolton fans agreeing with you - therefore, I am taking all valid opinions into place and HOPING (not expecting) that you are wrong - delusion is your bag not mine
