Yes, it does comes as a surprise. :)

The one against Bournemouth. Nice team goal. Clasie 15 yard into Pelle, who laid it off into the path of the breaking Bertrand, who then drove the ball across the goalmouth into the waiting Steven who despatched it. Great goal. Everybody said so, including the commentator.

Well that explains it. They'll conveniently forget it at the end of the month.

Any goals where the defending was crap should be automatically disqualified. Jamie Vardy v WBA wins by default.

Yes, I remember now, it was 3rd October. Everybody reckoned it was a special goal. Except those who work for the BBC.

All-time Premier League record.? All-time.? Seeing as the PL is the First Division under another name, the record is by Stan Mortensen with 11 goals. That's the all-time record, Motty.

Klopp felt 'alone' in the closing minutes of Liverpool's loss as so many of the home fans were leaving the stadium. Get used to it mate. It's not *Borussia Dortmund. :)

*and I have no idea whether the Dortmund supporter leaves a game early or not. I get the feeling it's 'not', though.

It will be interesting to see how the Liverpool fans respond to his comments. That's twice he has not been complimentary of the atmosphere.

After our game, he felt the aura of panic and low confidence transmit itself on to the pitch and this time there was no aura.

VVD in Garth Crooks' team of the week Unfortunately, Crooks mainly uses his slot to sell Koeman to Abramovich.

Yeah I just read that too...
'The Saints are on a great run and have been nothing short of amazing under Ronald Koeman. So why are the press fuelling the speculation around Brendan Rodgers, Roberto Di Matteo or Guus Hiddink taking over at Chelsea? Blues owner Roman Abramovich would be stark raving mad to part company with Jose Mourinho, but if he did why wouldn't you go for Koeman?'

I am amazed (but very happy) that Koeman hardly ever gets mentioned for jobs (apart from the Netherlands job). Perhaps he's respected, but not seen as exciting. Fine by me.

It's because people are confused by his honesty. They don't know how to handle a manager who speaks the truth.

I agree it was. I did have to laugh at Joe Hart's poor touch though.

Well gestede did chuck it hard at home and went to close him down instantly. Goal keepers aren't known for their silky touches.

They are expected to be able to control a ball these days though. It wasn't that difficult a ball to control, in my opinion.

He didn't need to stop it, just get out the way. Thought it was rather amusing. Would have been raging were it against us mind!

Lots of rumours abound that Monk is about to lose his job. That would be a real shame.
