You're a touchy one, ain't ya? Didn't really pay attention to any Championship rumours to be honest, I have better things to do with my time to read every single rumour and transfer going on in the lower leagues of football. Who were you "fending off calls" from, and who for?
Sold Brady Chester jelavic n Doye , Dawson was linked to Bournemouth , elmo was linked to Everton West Ham , Hernandez was linked to a few serie a sides , Davies linked to palace , Robertson linked to a few prem sides , Livermore was linked with villa before the season ended , huddlestone was linked to Bournemouth and West Ham but your right nobody wanted any of our players .
If Leicester were in the Championship, would I be jealous of teams playing in the Premier League!? Yes, obviously! I wouldn't be so stubborn or awkward to avoid answering the question either
What question , I have already told you I'm not jealous of any side , whether you own Jamie vardy or Sergio augero means sod all to me.
If we were relegated and you promoted, and you said "are you jealous of Hull?", I would say yes, because I want us to be playing in the Premier League. We've already established you don't understand the concept of jealousy, I've tried to explain it but I can only do so much... So let's move on!
Yh because the pull of playing for Hull Tigers in the championship was too much for your players to leave. Wake up if teams wanted them they would have made a bid not a phone call
Yes because bids are never rejected are they , there is no hull tigers see previous post about knowing nothing about football
Not just newspaper talk plenty of times Bruce was pretty honest a lot of the time regarding players receiving interest from elsewhere . Yet newspaper talk is worthy of its own thread on this board regarding vardy and Real Madrid !
Obviously the rumour is a rubbish one. But it's a nice shock to us that one of our players are even mentioned in the same breath as Real Madrid. I'm sure you'll start a thread yourselves in January when Diame is linked with Barcelona
Fettis, do you have it in you to admit that Leicester are actually a good side? All you ever seem to say is "Leicester are doing well at the moment" The reality is, this "at the moment" has been over 20 games now...
tbh Fettis I've never wanted Charlie Austin ... for one he is injury prone and secondly I've never been convinced that he can really cut it at the top table ... he did well last season I'll admit .. but many of his goals seemed to come as 'consolations' when the games were dead (or from dead ball situations) ... I have similar reservations about Ross McCormack and Jordan Rhodes tbh ... Now I also had reservations about Jamie Vardy before this season started ... so I'm not immune to getting things badly wrong ... but the major differences are first JV's pace ... he is incredibly fast and if there is room to move the ball inside the last defender then that guy is in big trouble ... but secondly his resilience (perhaps desire) he tweaked his groin yesterday before dusting himself down and getting his goal ... the week before he did the same with his Achilles before scoring ... he is tough as old boots ... Charlie would IMHO have come off after either of those ...
When a premier league player goes down like Vardy did they go off, it's unheard of to see them get up! He is made of steel the Sheffield lad!
i suppose the table doesn't lie your certainly better than a decent chunk of the league at present , but football can change very quickly not that I expect you to be close to relegation after the start you have had , should be a decent season for Leicester
Well "at present" we are better than 17 other Premier league teams, as the table "doesn't lie" Come the end of the season I'd imagine we will be around 10th. A superb progression after last season.
Yep, we are just doing well "at the moment" The reality is, we are a rubbish side, who were lucky to stay up last season, and have just been on a lucky & fantastic run that won't last, even though it has now spanned over 20 games
