    Im not saying thats not true for one second but removing him from preseason training (which is the foundation for a good season) does seem a bit cutting of your nose to spite your face and a fine be more suitable - but than again you have to show the youngsters it wont be tolerated

    that's it get him out.. now way you can have this behaviour at a pro football club, Nige won't want him influencing the youngsters.. are there grounds for a termination of contract?

    wouldnt of thought you could terminate a contract just for him turning up drunk would be very handy if you could !

    it seems in todays game that only drugs will get a player sacked not sure what rules apply to getting drunk i suppose if it happened alot could they ask the fa to step in ?

    When I turned up to a 9am lecture straight after a night out everybody thought it was hilarious.

    I fail to see how this is any different. Pearson needs to look up the word "banter".

    Pearson needs to look up the word gross misconduct....

    If you did that in any other job you would be warned or sacked, and the amount of times Jimmy has done this it is ridiculous and he should be sacked, i would like to find a Judge in the land (if Jimmy took it to court) who wouldn't be on our side.

    This all depends if its true....

    When I turned up to work on an early shift one time straight from LA's pissed as a rucksack full of newts I was lucky I didn't get fired, think Jimmy is treading on eggshells here, if some of the other players don't like it they could easily make a representation to management to take action.

    So pissed off about Bullard, everything looked optimistic and we would have a great midfield and a player that looked as if he wanted to stay..

    Now really needs to get this scourge out of the football club, he's holding us to ransom, surely his contract can be cut somehow? If he stays and plays some great games, i'll cheer him but it's disgusting what he's doing to this football club
