Well done, but you still failed to win even though you were the better team and we had a few important players missing. Could have been your second away win in the NLD in god knows how many years. So close yet so far as usual for you lot in these games.

"Wrong! All of those players played s part on Thursday against Anderlecht. Only walker and Rose didn't play."

Looks like an attempted "moral victory" (TM) to me.

Yes, I admit our failing is not putting games to bed when we have them on the ropes. We should have finished you off today, didn't, and paid for it.

Even though you were better for most of the game, we still created clear cut chances. **** knows how Giroud missed some of those clear headers, and in the end it was you lot trying to slow the game down and run down the clock.

The Goons are the masters of this, especially against the lower-placed sides.
Take Villa the other day. 2-1 and having kittens for 15 mins.
The Goons would have done them 5-0.

True, and Cech hauled your arse out of the fire more than once.

But? You were there for the taking on the first hour it more, and we didn't capitalise!

You didn't really create any chances that you'd expect to score, the saves Cech made were mainly routine. Towards the end of the game we created multiple clear cut chances to get the win, which is why you ended up time wasting and hanging on for the point. After Arsenal went level they were the only team who looked like they might find a winner.

For all the dominant play in midfield by spurs you really failed to create many decent chances.

Meh, Cech did not make any special saves, I can only remember the header from your CB and that was straight at him. We would have lost this game a few years ago, but to credit to Wenger for once, despite us having not having many options on the bench he made two good subs, Flamini brought more energy into our midfield and was putting in some good tackles and Gibbs also helped us win the ball back and even scored the equaliser.

We were fairly poor overall today and made Spurs look good, by not pressing them and giving the ball away to much. But as much as some of them clamour about how much they are improving, they still couldn't beat a weakened Arsenal team and as Sanj said, at the end it was them hanging on for a point.

Watching the highlights again, and it really was a weird game, they bossed us in midfield, but I would argue that we created the best chances, the three Giroud headers and two in particular were sitters, and all he had to do was hit the target.

"Arsenal did always look a threat going forward, once they shook off their early lethargy, and Ozil became the first ever player to contribute an assist in six consecutive Premier League games in the same season.

The Germany World Cup winner also became the first player to assist 10 goals in his opening 11 games of a Premier League season."

Taken from the BBC match report. It also mentions that Ozil covered more ground than any other Arsenal player.

There was one free header from around 6yds that he should have buried. As poor as we were today we probably should have taken all 3 points.

Cazorla was completely off of his game today, and apparently was subbed for being unwell at HT. Sanchez was poor too, no Ramsey, Walcott, Bellerin, either. To be honest, a full strength Arsenal team would probably have won this game fairly comfortably.

Just surprised to hear he covered the most miles. Didn't come across as being in the game much with or without the ball.

Nothing like one eyed Gooners! You're much vaunted midfielders were outplayed by s 18yr old. Your team was outplayed for most of the game. I've agreed that we lack the killer instinct to finish teams off, but somehow, in your eye(s) it was us who was lucky!?

Given the quality of chances created by Arsenal after scoring the first, you were lucky not to lose it and time wasted to try and keep the draw.

You had a fighting midfield performance but were poor defensively in the air and in the final third didn't create much worthwhile.

A bit more complicated than being 'outplayed by an 18 year old'. Your had three powerful midfielders and they all worked brilliantly together and helped you boss the midfield, our midfield on the other hand is clearly not as physically strong and without Ramsey in particular, we did not have the players from wide areas to drift in and add extra numbers in the midfield and help us retain the ball better. Campbell and Sanchez just stayed out wide and did **** all in trying to win back the ball, for you lot Lamela in particular worked his socks off and helped your midfield a lot.
