we had enough chances to bury them and missed most of them. shame Ings got injured but, as Sky says, we are creating good chances and dominated the game. just couldn't finish.

at least we don't bore the crowd to sleep!

I agree. Overall, we did well but all the little things just didn;t go our way.

As mentioned before, get Henderson and Sturridge back into this team in place of Lucas and Benteke, and Firmino for Lallana, our team is transformed.

Hope Sakho's injury isn;t serious.

Seriously WTF was Can doing for the first goal. School boy errors. Not one, but two in a row

Very poor. He need's a break, he seems to believe he's the well rounded perfect midfielder. He's far from it. I think he left his head up Rubins arse #sg

 

I suppose the encouraging thing is that we're only making stupid, individual errors. These can be ironed out. The system works - teams are struggling to break us down properly and have to rely on errors, and we're creating chances.

Result is very disappointing, performance was ok. 2 weeks to ensure some key players are back fully fit.

 

He's a very talented player. He will be top class very soon. Still raw and makes mistakes but he has played a lot of football this season. Badly in need of a break, which I hope he will get over the international break.

May be harsh but feel Migs should be doing better as well.

He is capable of making some cracking saves but he is incapable of starting attacks.

Benteke should have buried a couple of goals. But due to the fact he's a proven PL striker that will 100% score us goals I've cut him some slack...

 

Played OK. Main problems are still the same as last season, we can't put the ball in the net and we make stupid mistakes at the back, especially from set pieces.

 

Migs is always a weak link, yes sometimes he flatters to deceive, but he is not a long-term option, very flaky confidence at the best of times.
