Bla bla bla, you always come here talking ****, i'm just responding to your BS, we haven't turned to **** since beating you, so don't come here talking your usual rubbish. If we manage to pull the 3 points, we will go top of the league, so much for turning ****, even a draw makes us joint top.
Remember Wenger before the season started going on about our big squad, when we need it we don' have one because of the annual injuries that every man and his dog knows we are going to get/
Considering the circumstances, a point is good, BUT, we put ourselves in this disastrous situation, some of you on here can go on about how big our squad is, not making a single outfield signing was a ******ed decision, and its cost us today, no 2 ways about it.
Not a great performance by any measure, but credit to the lads for getting us back in it. Looked like we might score a second, but overall given that Spurs probably could have nicked another one too, a draw is about right. Although it's disappointing to drop 2 points at home.
Tottenham were the better team. Lucky to get a point. At least we are still joint top. We never seem to take the initiative when our rivals drop points. We really have to come out guns blazing during the Christmas period. We'll have all our XI back. No excuses after that.
International break has come at a good time for once. We got two weeks to get the likes of Bellerin,Ramsey and Walcott fit and back into the starting line up, we missed all three badly today.
Hard to take the initiative when you have something like 8 players missing, others who are tired etc....But that again is our own fault, if you don't make outfield signings, the only team to not to among the top leagues in Europe, you only have yourself to blame and can't rely on a single excuse.
By the time they are back, you can guarantee another 3 or 4 will be out injured, I say the same thing every year, and it happens. Just wait and watch, our medical room is just an ever revolving door, 2 go out, 3 go in.
Yup. We usually get international breaks when we gain momentum and get players injured during the break period. Fortuitously, it's the other way round. Plenty of time for our players to recuperate and come back from injuries.
A draw is probably a fair result but I thought we were unlucky not to win it in the end with the aerial chances we created. Gibbs on was a great sub, it's funny looking back at the comments in this thread when the sub was made! I thought given our limited options wenger made good subs that had a positive effect in the game even though they might not have been the subs people expected. I do however think if we'd had better options available and not injured we would of been able to get the three points today, which is disappointing. Given the circumstances though it's a decent point.
To be fair the number we have out is unprecedented even for us. But yeah there is something terribly wrong with our rehab/coaching methods when it comes to injuries.
