Pato knows how to put the ball in the back of the net so if we can get him cheap i think it's a good deal, obvs will replace balo if milan decide to buy him back

When he was younger Pato was the next big thing, after injuries and an average few performances he seemed to get a bit lost. Could be a good buy if Klopp can get him back to his best, but the Prem could just bring out the injury side of his character.

Still him and Studge would make a great pair of bookends in Klopp's office.

For some reason felt like Pato had to be older than 26 by now. Seems to be years since he was news.

He might be the next Balotelli! Not excited if this is a real rumour. Just been doing some reading about his recent years. Seems like Corinthians are very critical of him... Missing open goals and stuff. Has a slightly less than 1 goal in 3 ratio since returning to Brazil which isn't terrible but not fantastic.

Corinthians wernt happy with him though so sent him on loan paying a big chunk of his pay to get him out on loan.

  7. Had a look back and I assume you mean this one...

I have no idea who he is and I don't pay attention to YouTube clips <ok>

    ^ this

Pato hasn't been the same player since he suffered recurrent muscle injuries a few years back.

His agent was hawking him around the PL last summer and the summer before. He's not good enough for the English league any more IMO. However, I'd be inclined to think that the story was bollocks, and merely more agent PR as I'm sure Klopp would know he's a busted flush as well.

Worth noting he's been playing on the wing as an inside forward, so 1 in 3 isn't that bad.

Not sure how I feel about him - he's still lightening quick and he's a good finisher. €15m could be shrewd, plus he'll be playing with Coutinho and Firmino.

Would prefer other targets - Leroy Sane is probably my desired player for Janauary. This kid is special.

Bit harsh - I thought he was very good at Milan, his first 3-4 years were brilliant until he was hit a lot of injuries.

Went off the rails and started partying which didn't help. Think he would be an exciting risk to take. Parallels to Sturridge.

I should have wrote 'playing with quality Brazilians' ..

But anyways - I think Leroy Sane will be our top target for January.

For the first time in a long time, I trust our manager to sign good players who actually fit the team and improve us! If he feels that man's Pato, so be it. If he wants to get N'gog back home to Anfield, he can do that too!

Watching Konoplyanka against Real - makes me wonder why we didn't go in for him again. Really good player.

Have you ever seen Madrid play this poor, they look totally lost on the pitch. Twice I have noticed Ronaldo and Modric waving players forward when they are trying to press from the front but, the rest sat back in two rows of four (the Rafa influence) and they just got over run.
