.......................Will take this as a totally soul destroying injustice & whinge, whine, moan & bleat on about it like bairns for a whole ****ing week. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/34686457
I'll take it, huge win but was much more encouraged by the Performance in the derby defeat and the game against Stoke. We deserved nothing today. Our worst performance under McClaren.
Agreed but it is nice to see some fight in the team. Under Parpoo, this would have been a different result.
Who grumped the Mags against Stoke not a certain keeper ... Buckland - Wonder What McLaren's view is now - Man - up keepers are there to do what Elliot did - prevent goals & now .. Champion league ??? - Basically if the Cherries were clinical - game was well beyond you - you know that !
I've got no problem calling it how see it. I thought we deserved more than we got from the derby and the Stoke game but we deserved absolutely nothing today, we were embarrassing. Only 3 of our first 11 played remotely well. In a strange way I was more confident following the defeat to you lads than I am following today's game. Can't quite work out if we're a decent team that's been unlucky or a poor team where we deserve to be.
You must see a difference? We (Newcastle) felt aggrieved last week but Butland played brilliantly. Today Bournemouth should of won but Elliot played brilliantly. The Derby, who knows what WOULD of happened had the referee not ruined the game? He did ruin the game with a bad decision that was proven to be bad as the red card was rescinded. The penalty and red card changed that game, I'm not saying Sunderland wouldn't of won, as Stoke and Bournemouth games prove that the best team doesn't always win, but the referees decision certainly helped you.
