Yep you sound pretty ignorant to me. OK we're not the best team and probably be fighting relegation all season, but if you watched most of our games you'd know we are far from being a poor team. This was a dull game but it's not a true reflection of how we normally play, AN tightened it up at the back because we needed the points.
I think it was more about labeling us as crap based, I'm guessing, mainly on results and the very little MOTD give us. We have out played a lot of teams this season and been robbed. Only a few games we really deserved a beating. Southampton, Liverpool, Newcastle I think were the only games we were outclassed, of the top of my head.
I've seen highlights of your games and I watched all of today's game. I can also see the table. In case it's escaped your notice we're still above you despite we the fact we've won one in nine. Not ignorant, just truthful. There's only so far the "we was robbed" argument will take you. Trust me, as a Swans fan I know. But we'll see how it all pans out, eh?
Check the table again. If you're a decent team playing well you shouldn't be there should you? I'm happy to say we're **** right now. Can't understand why you think the Canaries are so good when all the evidence is pointing to the contrary.
We're not talking about who's above who on the table You're saying we're a bad side because you are looking at the table, but it's not a true reflection of our performances.
Doesn't reflect performances. Which you'd know if you had watched games like Stoke, West Ham, Leicester.
Check the table again. If you're happy to see your team playing well but losing then it's no wonder you're content with where you are.
Yep I stand correct. Ignorant lol. I'm happy to win ugly like today and get a bit of distance from the bottom 3, but what I'm trying to get through to you is we're not a bad side, still plenty of time to improve and get results.
Not a lot we can do about it, we don't have the finances that you established Premier League clubs have. We just have to work hard and play as well as we can and hope it's enough. We didn't strengthen the areas we needed, so we have to work with what we have. Despite that, we are 12 games in and in 15th position. I don't see that as terrible at the moment.
This was a game we needed to win and by "playing ugly" we did. In truth it was the worst game I have seen us play since Hootun's days but it mattered not when the final whistle went. Thought the introduction of The Bonk was the turning point - he certainly gave Fenandez and Williams a torrid time. Good result even though the most entertaining thing was the weather !!
Well done canaries - best team won on the day, but agree it was an awful match; but the object for both teams was 3 points and you did it, no arguments there. Could get difficult from here on in; we face a Bournemouth team who were unlucky (to put it mildly) today and will see us as an opportunity to grab valuable points....... .....whilst you have an easy 3 points at Stamford Bridge (only bright point of the day was watching more misery piled on Chelsea). Good luck for the rest of the season; you did a job on us today and think the confidence gained from the 3 points will allow you to play the football you are capable of in the next few games.
Just watched the highlights on MOTD and you have to hand it to Auntie Beeb, they made that game look a whole lot better than it was. In fact, considering Swansealona had 66% tippy, tappy sideways and backwards possession, they hardly showed them having a kick !
Michael Bailey's post match report from Mustard TV - love how AN brushes aside the journo who asks the last question right at the end of the clip http://www.mustardtv.co.uk/browse/premier-league-report-norwich-city-1-swansea-0/
Am I right thinking Redders is injured for a couple of weeks? Wonder why Laffs got the nod over Grabban on the bench, but not complaining. Good to see VOO get on the bench too. Good win no matter the performance OTBC
Neil had a game plan and the players executed it perfectly. The first half was dire but on the second half I though we actually played some resally nice football. We were definitely the more threatening team. Swansea can bleet on all day about how much possession they had and how many passes they made, the truth is it was by Norwich design. I think it's good to see that we can play both styles. Against the "weaker" teams we can take the game to them but against the stronger ones, or the ones who just want to pass it around, we can make it difficult and be compact abd hit teams on the break, especially when Redmond and Jarvis are back.
