I thought he did very well indeed today. Duncan Watmore was a very tricky winger with plenty of pace, but Maya held his own. He didn't get forward very much, but when he did, he did fine. And at the close it was handy to have 4 CB's against Borini and Johnson.

BS kept mentioning what a good side we are, but said his back 4 did well and were let down by the guy who conceded the penalty. Also suggested that they should have got a penalty because of a Yoshida hand ball....but the pundit on Sky mentioned it hit Maya on his side rather than his hand. Sam looks depressed...when you are down you never get a break. So I guess we are big time now
