Terry should remember, players like Savage and thousands of others who do not have the skills,or the luck,to play for big money teams, keep our Football League going!
There are/were,many other "average" players like Terry who lucked out and won a lot of trophies.

What's so utterly laughable is for years Savage's default response when somebody calling in to 606 put him in his box by stating facts was to trot out the line that they hadn't played at the highest level so therefore they were "wrong" - so Terry saying he'll accept criticism from Gary Neville, Jamie Carragher or Rio Ferdinand but not Savage is just as moronic.

I was reading something earlier where someone pointed out that, while the journalists in the room were laughing, Terry was actually slagging them off.
They're part of the group of people criticising him, despite not having played at the top level.

Missing the point is par for the course for journalists in this country.

As he's got eighteen months left on his contract, here's hoping City grossly overpay on another English winger who doesn't live up to the hype and their contract is winding down...

Savage was also a nasty dirty little kaaant on the pitch. At least Terry had the decency to let Diaby kick him squarely in the head.

Lucky me, I am off to "one of the greatest football stadiums in the world" today (according to Karren Brady), to see the England v NZ Rugby League international.

My seat is in row 35, which I guess will mean me taking a telescope to see the action. It will probably be like standing on Bournemouth sea front trying to watch a game on the Isle of Wight.

I will be calling in on my GP on the way, to get some protection against any nasty diseases I may catch on spending an afternoon at the Spammers new home.

Reminding me of the **** that floats at the top of football does not add to my Saturday OS. These bluebottles have a nose for money and a degree in exploitation.

Especially in the case of Karrunt Brady, who wants £175m of taxpayers money for the Spammers to reside in the White Elephant, yet voted in favour of cutting the tax credits of those same taxpayers. Or, as Private Eye put it...
