Well, it's an away match against an Allardyce side who'd chew through their forearm for a 0-0 draw, so it was never likely to be a classic. It has managed to be even less, though; Sunderland aren't even trying to get out of their half much of the time, and we're not finding ways through.
Sunderland parking the bus, but doing a decent job of it. Still, I think we are putting together enough little chances and applying enough pressure that if we play a second half like the first we will get a goal. I expect that Sunderland will make some changes at halftime, however. Maybe not an actual substitution, but at least switch up their tactics a bit.
So nerve shredding people might actually be happy if we move Maya to CB and Cedric at RB. Then we'll be able to moan about the first midfield substitution which will be wrong ... No doubt
