Norwich have gone six games without a victory overall, having failed to pick up three points since the visit of Bournemouth in mid-September. Scoring goals has not been a problem for the Canaries though – they have scored as many as Manchester United – but they have been failing to keep them out at the other end; they are the only team yet to keep a clean sheet in the Premier League this season. They came close to a point at Manchester City last time out, but some late indiscipline saw them on the end of another defeat, which left them just two points above the bottom three. Swansea could be ideal opposition if recent history is anything to go by; the East Anglian side have lost just one of their last 15 games against the Welsh club. The Swans have faded after a bright start and collected just one win in their past seven games. Last weekend saw the Welsh outfit put to the sword by Arsenal at the Liberty Stadium. Bafetimbi Gomis’ form has matched that of his team; the Frenchman scored in each of his first four matches this season but – to the disappointment of fantasy football managers who were taken in by his bright start – has failed to find the net since. Garry Monk’s side have never won at Norwich in the Premier League, and will need that record to be broken this weekend if they are to avoid being dragged into a fight at the wrong end of the table. Sorry guys, haven't had time to compose the usual offering this week so it's a bit of a copy and paste job from shoot.co.uk My prediction City 5 Swans 2
Norwich City FC @NorwichCityFC 48s49 seconds ago TEAM: Ruddy; Wisdom, Bennett, Bassong, Olsson; Howson, Tettey (c), O'Neil, Brady; Hoolahan; Jerome. #ncfc #Swans: Fabianski, Naughton, Fernandez, Williams, Taylor, Ki, Shelvey, Ayew, Sigurdsson, Montero, Gomis
Wisdom and O'Neil starting? If anyone predicted that I'll be impressed! So is this going to be 5 at the back again, with Wisdom CB, Brady RB, or a more conventional 4-2-3-1, with Wisdom RB and Brady on the left of midfield? Edit: And just as I type it, the Coral graphic appears on twitter, suggesting 4-2-3-1. Tettey is captain, which might be a first for him?
Norwich City 01 Ruddy 03 Wisdom 24 R Bennett 06 Bassong 23 Olsson 28 O'Neil 27 Tettey 08 Howson 12 Brady 14 Hoolahan 10 Jerome Substitutes 02 Whittaker 09 Mbokani Bezua 13 Rudd 18 Dorrans 19 Lafferty 21 Mulumbu 32 Odjidja-Ofoe Well that's a turn up for the books. Few surprises here for sure. Looks like some of AN's previously held views about players are starting to change.
You won't get good odds on him not scoring again though On our current form I think you'll turn us over if you score first. Hoping for a draw.
Cheers KIO . Interesting line up. BTW anyone watching the cherries game.? How the **** did we ship 6 to the toon?
