Everyone is missing out on the fact that nearly everybody is in some sort of team - maybe you don't need to read ALL of the rules yourselves?
Edit: You could always split it with Flanninho and ask him to read the other half for you!!

Roles have now been drawn up using random.org
All roles were assigned randomly with no tinkering!
The game will remain open for any latecomers to sign up until 9pm on Saturday. Any latecomers who sign up will be assigned the role of 'Visitor to town' and will be staying in the Town Tavern - but will not have access to the tavern board. They will be unaligned at the start of the game!

Probably just as well as he now genuinely has a role in the game
