I've grown to like it quite a lot. We've had some interesting Away strips in the last few seasons. My favourite of recent seasons has to be the two-tone blue with yellow highlights. Classy. My liking may have something to do with some of our great football we played in it last season. Arsenal LC, Stoke LC, ManU PL, and a couple of others. Notably, those 3 were evening matches, where the atmosphere can always reach greater heights, I feel.

Then we had last season's Yellow 3rd kit against Newcastle. That was good too. Last season was a very good year for our strips, in my opinion.

This season's away shirt is excellent - one of the best IMO.

It's not one of my favourites.

    But I suppose it's acceptable....

Our aggregate score against Sunderland last year was 9-2, and we still only won one and lost one. Can we spread it out a bit more evenly this time (wnd whoop them twice)?

Don't win often away to Sunderland, do we? Can't understand why, so will put it down to chance and therefore will have no influence on the result this weekend.

Although his cross for Fletcher's goal against Newcastle was potentially the cross of the season so far.

They've stuck it there to remind you of the demolition job that you suffered at our hands last year. <laugh>

You've played Newcastle at home seven times in the last three years?! <laugh>

    EDIT: I was too slow.

I do too, once my fears of the players being camouflaged against today's verdant pitches were allayed.

Though I still think last year's in house kits surprisingly among our best. Shame about the quality and sizing.

I'm irrationally concerned about this one.

We're on form, haven't lost away all season, and are playing a side who have just shipped six and don't have one single PL quality CB in their squad. There's no rational reason for me to be worried - it should be a straight forward Saints win. But I can see a really rank game, with Sunderland coming out on top.

I'm a Rambler myself and a motorcyclist. For some reason I remembered Rick O'Shea as being the band leader of The Cars. Actually it was Rick Ocasek, so it was a dumb question.

    No I didn't, but I do now. :)

Rank, that's a word I haven't heard in a while. Don't worry we will be ok. Koeman is learning quickly about how this years team works.
Wanyama will be missed but with fonte back our defence should be able to cope if BFS goes direct.
