I'm not sure I'm gonna be as committed as you but I will be relatively angry if I get shunned on launch day. My wife's away to London next weekend so I'll definitely get a few hours then, no PL fixtures either so I've got no excuses.

 

He's not that great actually mate, stat wise, he's only got 13 out of 100 for Police Evasion and 21 out of 100 for Cleaning Up Evidence

 

I know Bournemouth will beat us so I'm playing Fallout instead. **** the football.

Sometimes the prime guy delivers in the evening though. A nice rasta man. I'm pleasant normally but if he don't have my game I may have to blow him away with my homemade Vault-Tec Assisted Targeting System.

 

I've literally just had an email from Game telling me my order is packed and ready for dispatch.

The worst part for me is, by the time I've sat there, waiting for it to install my Mrs will find something wrong in the house that needs fixed or we have to get a divorce immediately.

He's got a 97 for Obligatory Greasy Hair and a 89 for Looks The Part.

 

This isn't some **** game we are talking about. This is Fallout 4. She has to understand this. Give her the pipboy to play with, that might give you a few hours!

 

Thanks for the feedback, going to pre-order this tonight. BRS is half-right, as it's not even a game we're talking about - it's a life event. I've just gone over Fallout 3 again taking a bit more time over exploration (Andale - wtf?!?), then referred back to the gfx on Fallout 4 and am just lollygagging. What's more staggering is F4 is cheaper on pre-order than Witcher 3 is, so I have a feeling it'll take a loooong time to see 'value' in F4.

You just know it's going to be incredible. I suspect the whole choices thing will be the widest ranging ever seen.

Ahh Andale. How I enjoyed Slaughering those cannibalistic ****s. I also smashed the 'normal' old blokes leg off with a sledgehammer. He attempted to fight back when I tried robbing what meagre possessions he had. It was mistake. Seeing him semi explode in VATS almost brought a tear to the old eye.

 

How come yall are so hyped for fallout 4? fallout 3 was crap compared to 1 and 2, even fallout tactics was more fun than 3.

Fallout 4 better be much more like Fallout 2 than 3.

Just watched the trailer...looks like a shooter. Seriously? Fallout used to be about the dialogue ..and choices, not running around shooting.

 

Can we ban computer games for anyone above 16 please

Any of you ever play fallout 2? It took a good 6 hours of playing until you got anywhere near an automatic weapon.

 

Dude Fallout 3 was amazing. Now, I never played the first two games but Christ 3 is one of my all time favourite games. The amount of time put into that, Skyrim and Oblivion was insane.

1 and 2 are more RPG based with an over head view. It's evolved for the better imo by merging rpg and shooter(I play in 1st person) but the first two are excellent if you like retro gaming. You can get the first one on DosBox for free.

 

Just be really productive before delivery / during install and you're golden
