I can see us scoring, the problem, as you state it, it is likely the Saints will hit the back of the net a few times as well

I think it's fair to say Southampton will defo score.
The question is, can we out score them?
We've defo got goals in our team this season from various parts of the pitch which makes a change.
I'd like to see Lens bought back in.

Great thread mate and 1-0 to Sunderland.

Southampton will have plenty of the ball but Allardyce won't allow another 'Everton'.

I can see it being similar to the Newcastle game and, once again, the supporters will have to be patient.

If we have Kaboul & JOS back that'll help.

Incidentally, it's nice to see Billy Jones winning people round ........ he's a decent player and seems keen to put a shift in.

    Based on latest injury news.

    -----------Pantilimon----------
    Yedlin---Oshea--Kaboul---Jones
    -------------Mvila---------------
    Johnson-Larsson-Gomez-Borini
    ------------Fletcher-------------

Mvila pulling the strings from deep, plenty of graft in the middle of the park and guile on the wings.

Fletcher is in a bit of form so we need to get plenty of balls into him.

We don't score that many away, but we concede even fewer (4 so far). Stats would suggest this will be a low scoring game, along with SA looking for defensive stability; but it's intriguing as both teams could look to hit each other on the break, or you might looking ceed possession to us and remain compact, which we will have to be aware of after your last home game ;)

Well done to you mate, signs of a top fan when you are prepared to travel with the enemy of the day to watch your team play, I salute you fella..<ok>

I have a good feeling about today, we might only get 30% possession but I can see us getting a couple of goals out of that. Going to have a few quid on the lads/Stoke double today..

    Enjoy..<ok>
