I'm just glad nugent is out. Always does well against us.

A win would certainly officially put us as favourites for promotion (but do we want that)

A draw would be fine for me

A loss might put some doubts in some minds. We should be well clear to be honest When you look back at the lost points we lost in some matches early in the season but this is a huge game for both teams.

Unpredictable result but I'll go for 2-2

He's no slower than Bruce and has a better touch, it's about reading the game, in a back 4 with Dawson he won't be exposed as much as in a back 3.he has learned quite a bit from playing in the championship since that FA cup semi. Think he will be fine and at corners he will be a welcome addition....

Don't disagree with you overall but Harry can't have learnt much since signing for us. He's barely played.

I was thinking of the game time with Wigan, although they got relegated, he did play well for them....

Course he's learned, he's been training with far better players than he ever has.

I don't think maguire has a lot to learn really! It's more about feeling confident & believing he belongs here! It'll be a big day for him that's for sure!

The same logic never seems to apply to youngsters though. We're always told that first team games are what counts.

Is he out ? Hope your right as they have lost another striker Christian Stuani already.

I've seen nothing to say that Nugent is out.

I'm sure I read somewhere a while ago that Maguire is near the top of City's sprinting charts. I don't think this "he's slow" received wisdom is quite right.

    We will find out tomorrow!

Sky Sports said that Nugent might be out but Boro fans think it was an error.

you shouldn't worry - Maguire is a much better player than Junior - did you see both of them play on Tuesday - different class - even the HDM saw the difference - our main worry should be the lack of effective cover in central defence - we sold two of the best four we had and didn't replace them - hopefully Maguire will come good - whatever anyone thinks of Junior, he's a sick note waiting to happen - that's something like the fourth time he's been injured this season already

Bruce was saying we can't expect to have six central defenders in the championship.
Now we have two injured and two playing.

Yes I was at Brentford on Tuesday but wasn't over-impressed with Maguire. Bruce, when fit, is more secure. Still, we have no choice tomorrow & I really do hope that Maguire proves me wrong & makes it difficult for Curtis D & Alex B to get their place back in the team.

Nor I. Looked in the Middlesboro evening gazette and nothing mentioned there either.

I don't care who plays for Middlesboro. It is upto Hull City to show them who is best. End of.

hope that works - Maguire chasing Downing for West Ham's third goal - was very slow and seemed to give up - lets hope we don't get a repeat tmw

He might be alright once he gets up to speed, but I've never seen a City player so slow in terms of turning/acceleration. Makes Wayne Brown look speedy on that front. Hope I'm wrong but I worry with him in the team. I know he's young but the Leicester game was the only decent game he's had for us. Even on Tuesday night he was very fortunate not to give away a penalty.
