If we're still looking for another Striker for our new season would Daniel Pacheco be out of our range from Liverpool. He's fairly young, he's quick, he's skillful, he has a great touch and control and knows where the net is. He's been on the fringes of the Liverpool team for a while now and maybe he's had enough and just wants to get games. Do you think he could do a job for us? If you haven't seen him play there are plenty of videos of him on Youtube.
Good young player is Pacheco, though plenty of Liverpol,fans I know wonder if he'll be strong enough for the PL. With only 1 long term loan spot though I'd rather we either used it for someone key or waiting until late August to fill it.
Too unproven for me. Was non existent against us for norwich last season. And has only played 11 1st team club games scoring 2 goals. Hardly prolific!
Pacheco was very impressive for us when on loan last season! No chance of getting permanently but possibly on loan as I am sure Liverpool have plans for him being in the first team in the next few years. I'm not sure if I would want him back him back desperately, although I wouldn't mind it, as we have quite a few stikers already.
That's an interesting name to bring up Scott. We haven't seen much from Macheda since that stunning debut and I think the few games after. I don't know if I've seen enough from him to judge whether he's brilliant or was just very lucky. I'd absolutely love to see Sturridge at the Liberty but I can't see that happening now.
He gets my vote as a squad player , absolutely !! The last 10 or 15 minutes of a game could bring results with his experience , especially if the midfield are on track .
mate at work (chelski fan) told me this morning he read that the new chelski manager was still up in the air about keeping sturridge - dunno y imo would rather get rid of anelka or drogba, but interesting read, maybe sturridge will be avail on year long loan
There's been big rumours Sturridge is off to Newcaslte for a while now so I'm resigned to him ending up there... what a coup it would be if we could get him though. I really, really doubt Rodgers is looking at Heskey.
I can't work it out if it would be good or not to be honest Scott. He does create goals for others but I agree with your point. Just heard another rumour which would be crazy and unbelievable so I'll keep it under wraps!!!
That's because he was on loan in Italy (Sampdoria I think). Fergie stated earlier this summer he wants him at United this year though.
