It is so true what you said, you have to really wonder does he actually think it true. Gomis is the worst striker in PL and I would probably trade him for any other PL teams striker. His movement is poor, his hold up play is poor, his finishing is poor, everything there to make a top striker, well as some would have it.
Regardless of who starts I 'm expecting a huge turnaround from this game into the next game. And 6 points will give us all the confidence we need to take a few scalps from the difficult teams we face on the run up till Christmas. 11 points from our next 6 games is my prediction , with a single loss.
Was back in Swansea for this game to see family and friends.Front row right by Priskin when he skinned the defender.Forgot he even played for us.
Gets turned around starting tomorrow , can feel it in my bones. Can't imagine not winning by 2 goals at least Going for 3-1 win , maybe 4-1 . Nothing left but yellow feathers when we leave town.. It's like a new season starting Saturday.......Well I hope so , but I also believe so. Hoping for Fab Naughton , Williams Fernandez, Tabanou Ayew !,Ki , Britton , (Shelvey or Siggy ) Montero Eder
How anyone can say bony is better than gomis is off his rocker. Gomis is far to good for the players he has to play with at swansea, Bony was the same level as our players and fitted in well and much better than he is doing at man city, Gomis and ayew would shine at a better quality side than us and we will see at the end of the season these better bigger sides fighting over these two players and you have to ask why.......Its because they have superior quality in them that they struggle to use with us.......
So why didn't Man City take Gomis on a free when he was available then or pay us 8m for him if he is so good and why did they choose Bony and pay 28 m instead. Oh I forgot you know more than Pellegrini.
Afternoon lads, we really need to win this one with Arsehole (H) and Chelski (A) up next. Our defence however scares the **** out of me as we are yet to keep a clean sheet all season. Ruddy looks bereft of confidence and his mistake at Citeh last weekend led to us conceding that late pen, many are now saying he should be 'rested' (dropped) but personally I can't see Alex Neil maiking that call. Basically if we don't beat you guys tomorrow it's looking like we may well be in the bottom three come December IMO. We've been playing well and our performances arguably 'deserve' a higher points tally, hopefully tomorrow everything will click into place and we'll put away the chances we've been creating. P.S. With reference to the 'Martin Peters' posts earlier in the thread you will see from my avatar that he was a boyhood hero of mine. Not many realise that Martin was with us longer than he was at Spurs (nearly six years) and played more games for us (206) scoring 44 goals. In fact Bill Nicholson thought he was finished when John Bond persuaded him to come to Norwich, how wrong he was and Nicholson admitted so afterwards. He was player of the season 2 years running and was the best outfield player I have ever seen pull on our famous yellow shirt. He was granted a testimonial at Carrow Road in 1978 which saw the England '66 side turn out for him, I was there and still have the programme. He continued to play for us for another 2 years. please log in to view this image Sorry, went on a bit there didn't I
This is a game we should be targeting for 3 points, It wont be easy but what game is, We are very capable and should put in a good performance against a team on the same level as us.....
Really? I can imagine winning by one goal, drawing and losing as well. Not at the same time, obviously
Your doubling down on foolishness , although it certainly won't be first time. We have our best players we've ever had these days , but were a far cry from having our best striker.. I really thing were about to break out though , Monk and players.
We should take this opportunity against Norwich and the cherries to rest Ash,fab and Taylor and get them fresh for Liverpool and Leicester.imo
