    Lee Clark ... ?

You need to sit down in a darkened room and consider that one Nick <ok>

Paul Lambert for me.... prior to Villa we would have had no hope of attracting him but he needs to re-build his reputation somewhere like us

Lee Clark, are you mad? I have a feeling it might be the Walsall Manager.

I would take Nigel Pearson, Paul Lambert or Tim Sherwood any day. Issue is, why would they want to come to us?

They see the news and hear the stories. I mean ****, if Hasslebank turned us down because he believes Burton Albion is a better run and more stable club, why on earth would any decent manager want to come to us...

It's gotten super bad, when Burton Albion manager is turning us down, as he believes he's at a better club.

IF Roland is serious about employing a manager to actually manage it will mean major restructuring, and a complete change of approach. How is he going to oversee that from his Belgian office? Doesn't fit with my impression of the thin controller, so I will remain sceptical until I see it happen. This is the same man who told SCP to play Coco, because he was better than Hamer, and Nego was better than Solly, and Peter Parsley was as good as Yann. "He will do it his way and the fans have to understand that" was Cuddles' message, so for this leopard to change its spots would take some doing.

Much depends on whether RD has truly undergone a conversion worthy of Frank Maloney these last few days. As someone on CL pointed out, it was the Mail who originally broke the story of Douche buying the Club.

Could there be an element of truth in this, a proper manager at least .

I almost feel a scintilla of hope

I struggle to believe it, even if he now miraculously wants to bring in someone fit for the job, where is he going to find them? He knows sweet **** all about English football and has sacked everyone in the club who did. Will he take advice from the Israeli agent? He's never heard of half the clubs in our division, let alone Walsall or Burton.

Fraeye enjoyed a 'dead cat bounce' on Saturday.

The squad is still too weak and the fundamental problems have not gone away.

If we were genuinely getting a new decent manager, you can surmise it would be done before the fans meeting tomorrow night.

In my opinion it is 95% probable that Patsy Carol has got the job "as he has lifted the squad" etc...

If he set the team up on Saturday he must know a bit about the game. If it was Euell or Jacko let them keep on doing it. None of them have managed at a high level I know, but hey, Brian Clough started at Hartlepool and Alex Ferguson started at East Stirling, Jock Stein at Dunfermline. We had round pegs in round holes for a change, especially Diarra and JBG. Only one game , I know, but...............................

Just shows how ridiculous it is these days the way managers are judged on a match to match basis. I'm sick and tired of hearing the latest on Abramovic will he won't he sack Mourinho. Now Garry Monk's under pressure, not long ago he was going to be England manager. I suppose Roland and the CEO have got no other way to judge a manager other than to stick one in and see how he gets on. Even when they get one who does well, like Riga, they still sack him (sorry recycle him)

True FHB that was weirdest sacking though not strictly sacked was he he was only there for the rest of that season to steady the ship ...maybe that was the case BUT didn't mean he wasn't allowed to sign a contract for the next season did it !

Riga wanted the job too from what I heard. He had players that he wanted to sign, and ideas on what he wanted to do in the season.

    Douchèbag obviously thought otherwise.

Then again it seems that all of the managers, sorry Head Coaches, had trouble with their relationship with him.
    • Powell complained he was not supported or sent the right players
    • Peeters complained that he was not supported
    • Luzon claimed he was unfairly sacked and performance was due to unsatisfactory and unfit players
