I would take Nigel Pearson, Paul Lambert or Tim Sherwood any day. Issue is, why would they want to come to us? They see the news and hear the stories. I mean ****, if Hasslebank turned us down because he believes Burton Albion is a better run and more stable club, why on earth would any decent manager want to come to us... It's gotten super bad, when Burton Albion manager is turning us down, as he believes he's at a better club.
IF Roland is serious about employing a manager to actually manage it will mean major restructuring, and a complete change of approach. How is he going to oversee that from his Belgian office? True FHB that was weirdest sacking though not strictly sacked was he he was only there for the rest of that season to steady the ship ...maybe that was the case BUT didn't mean he wasn't allowed to sign a contract for the next season did it !
Riga wanted the job too from what I heard. He had players that he wanted to sign, and ideas on what he wanted to do in the season. Douchèbag obviously thought otherwise. Then again it seems that all of the managers, sorry Head Coaches, had trouble with their relationship with him. Powell complained he was not supported or sent the right players Peeters complained that he was not supported Luzon claimed he was unfairly sacked and performance was due to unsatisfactory and unfit players
