Not entirely sure I agree. Take the Cerny character. That was ignored and indulged on here as it went searching for greater and greater attention/outrage until it ended up taunting a recent suicide survivor. Nothing is off limits for the idiot/s in the quest for whatever validation they get from attention whoring and it won't stop whether you ignore it or not.
IP checks for VPN usage and possible multiple user accounts for certain posters might be one way to go. Time consuming I guess. Failing that, as in this case, site rules need to be enforced against serial offenders.
I've not had as much time to post as I used to but I've always read the board and maybe reading gives you a different view to when you post day in day out.

This all day long. It's a virtual message board and people should take comments with a large pinch (as long as its not a personal attack). Seriously i met one poster at a game and he said "we don't normally see eye to eye". I said that i couldn't even remember what i had posted and found it sad that he actually mentioned it.
I like swords and i would be surprised that all these missing posters left because of something he has said?
I think message boards have a shelf life and people just don't find the time/move on to another site or have other priorities. I use the board less because i have started using Twitter (although there are people on there who talk more cr2p than i do).

Nope - the only reason I stopped posting was because of him. It's not fun trying to chat with like-minded QPR fans when you are waiting for the next attack.

As i said as long as it's not a personal attack but remember everyone has differing views. There are plenty on here that i think talk a lot of crap and know nothing about QPR/tactics/formations basically football in general but i realise that this is a forum and i can ignore or respond.
if people don't like what i have to say (and there are probably a few) then they should ignore, the same should be with Swords and whoever else.
I cannot understand why people say they left because of him or him. Just put 'ignore' on and you never have to have contact with them.
If you enjoy the forum then stay, besides you haven't really left or stopped posting otherwise you would not have commented on this thread.
Did you not see my earlier post? Perhaps you think I just made it up. I had received Pm's from the majority of the posters mentioned in that post to state that they were leaving because of him.

Why not just ignore? Remember i have had 'stalkers' on here in the past saying some nasty stuff, so i just put them on ignore or they moved on and since have had no problems.
