  2. Considering how **** we've been, we've got to be happy with the situation we find ourselves in now haven't we...

...win our remaining two games (Bordeaux at home and Sion away) and we top the group.

Win the first and we're through to the next round with a playoff game to see who wins the group.

4 might not be bad. If they're on separate rows.

No offense DK but I don't think I'd want you to be my wife either. I suspect you don't look good in heels.

Overall, a really solid performance and another clean sheet.

The full backs were good defensively and supported the attack but they need to improve their final ball. The crossing was really poor considering we have Benteke in the box.

Both centre backs had little to do but they dealt with most things.

Allen and Can put in solid performances, nothing spectacular but did a job.

Ibe was electric and looks reborn - my MOTM, and Firmino starting to find his feet now and you can see his intelligence, loves playing those through balls.

Benteke and Milner were both disappointing.

But the momentum is building - 3 wins on the bounce and we look defensively solid. Building from the back was always going to be crucial - without being great going forward, we've now won 3 games and deservedly. that's why having a good defence and midfield is crucial.

More importantly, players are playing with a smile and confidence.

    Brilliant <laugh>

I really love dogs, grew up always having one in the house, we had a stray and when she died we took in another stray. Two of the smartest dogs I have ever come across those strays were especially the latter. She must have been beatenor treated cruelly previously cos she would move about the house with one flank always against a wall, took her years to settle into the fact no one was going to hit her.

  11. Did you see Benteke track back and make a tackle in the RB position? #workingfortheteam

That's good - but it's a Shame he doesn't press or work hard in his end of the field.

He does work harder than some give him credit for, he's not your typical big man up front there's defo more about him than that. I've seen him close down and make intelligent runs. At times when the ball is in the air he's all about setting himself. He's a really good buy I'm very impressed so far.

He's been ok and better than I expected.

I'm just sayin that he was poor yesterday. I don't agree about his intelligent runs - I think he lacks in that regard, best example was when Clyne was rampaging down the right hand side and Benteke runs into that space as.well.

But anyways enough of the negatives - majority of the team were solid. Very good away performance.
