Don't think an English side has ever even got a point at their place before, I agree with you to an extent but still satisfied with the win/performance.

Likewise. We just need to be careful not to over react.

We've hardly won a game in Europe over past 2-3 years.

We won, it was away, rested a few players and controlled the game.

We have to give credit at least to Klopp for putting out a strong team. That episode of putting out a so called weakened team against Real was a shameful episode in our history. It was like bending our knees in front of mighty Madrid. Disgrace.

The irony of that is that we dropped under performing senior players and we played better than expected.

Happy with that, starting to play some good football and looking like the high press is working nicely and everyone understands it.

3 wins on the bounce, always good to get the players used to winning games!

Rubbish, re-writing history. The home match with the first team was the disgraceful performance. The stiffs in Madrid did a much better job and the result was meaningless. With Chelsea at home on the Sunday, it was perfectly acceptable (to me) to rest the first teamers in the hope they could do Chelsea. Unfortunately it didn't work out that way, but I wasn't complaining at the time and I'm not going to allow revisionist bull carp to suggest otherwise.

2nd point. Ibe, really, really, really, really, needs to work on his shooting technique. It was terrible, and he nearly missed the bloomin goal, it only hit the post and went in. Phew :emoticon-0104-surpr

You were playing Madrid away.....one of the biggest games you can ever have.....and that tit elected to rest half his first choice XI due to a PL the following weekend. It was an enormous error of judgement and cost him the support of his team captain to boot. Who's openly admitted that game was a turning point. It was a dickhead decision.

Point remains Tobes that the weakened team played much better than the supposed stars against the same opposition lol.
