Favorite game franchise of all time. Need a console to support fallout 4 first.

 

No - apparently this is the "sad bxstaxds who need to get out more thread". Don't know why I read these things but it just helps to form a better opinion of the people you are conversing with on here. Those of you who have responded seriously have gone way down in my estimation!

 

Fallout 3 is way better than New Vegas Tel. You've just got to persevere until you leave the vault (about 30-45 minutes game play) and head South East to Megaton and you'll be hooked.

I used to like that Shak fella but bow I've seen why he really doesn't have time to post more often I have lost all respect for the geeky nerd who can't pull (real) girls.

 

Sad bastards? Same could be said about golfers and fisherman, but each to their own. Hobby for one isn't necessary a hobby for another. I get that so wouldn't abuse others just because those people don't conform to their blinked view of what's an acceptable way to spend their spare time.

Getting to Megaton first when you leave the vault is imperative to your development. It's where your early missions are at, wander off into the wastes too early and you'll be ****ed. Do the bomb disarming mission first(don't be tempted set it off as you'll have to use an alternative location as a base over the other side of the map), this will mean putting your points into 'explosives' on your first level up. . That gets you a house in the town thus giving you safe storage. Do those things it will put you in good stead for the rest of the game. Wait till you hit the DC Ruins fella. There's barely any super mutants in New Vegas but this is teaming with them, especially in the main city ruins.

 

Sound advice ...mod the hell out the game too ...depending on how you like to play it .. I go for realism/survival/non monster auto levelling type mods

Tbf fallout 4 won't really be playable until a couple of months after Bethesda release the modding tools (same as every Bethesda game whether fallout or elder scrolls, they seem to rely on the community sorting ...stuff ..out for them)

Rule of thumb ...mod it till you break it ...then back off a little

 

I'd love to mod it but only have it on PS3 and it's not online. All i've got is the difficulty settings. Haven't tried hardcore yet like.

The games are good when released on consoles ..but gotta say ..The mods are what make it fly

Bethesda seem to put out a very ..basic structure ..and let the community ...finish the game

 

I've seen my mate modding it like. He was building a brand new Super Mutant town, making it solid as **** with multiple behemoths. Looks the shiz-niz

Have to say. When I upgrade my gaming device next I'm considering a new gaming PC instead of a console.
