I watch every Arsenal game, so I'm quite sure I watch him more than you, and yes when I was in London, I was watching him live in the stadium every time he was fit and playing, I did get to watch him once so far this season, in the United game, and boy was he excellent, a goal and an assist.

You keep saying 'largely' underwhelming, and the facts keep refuting that, he has largely been contributing to the team and doing what he was brought in to do, be the creative cog we want in midfield.

I'd argue assist stats are overrated, depending on what sort of assist it is. I can only judge the player on what I see of him myself which is watching on TV, much the same as you, and until this season I rarely saw him control a game as his reputation suggests he should, particularly against decent sides.

I read that Lucas Leiva had made the most challenges in the top European leagues so far this season iirc.

Does that make him god-like similar to Ozil?

Lucas is god-like anyway. If he had nicer hair he'd be at a big club.

Wearing a band is the sign of a true footballing God, the band strikes fear into the opposition.

This is the same set of stats that have Otamendi as the perfect centre-half! <laugh>

That list's hilarious. Arouna Kone is better than Aguero, Mahrez puts Neymar in the shade and goalkeepers don't exist, apparently.
Filipe Luis is the second best fullback in Europe, despite failing to break into the Chelsea side and Wes Hoolahan's one of the most dangerous players around.
Cazorla, Toure, Modric, Kroos and Thiago are amongst the best defensive midfielders in the game, despite, erm... not being defensive midfielders! <laugh>

I think that someone decided to prank Arsenal fans and hoped that they wouldn't check the source material.

Ozil was like watching Maradona, but I don't think that Cazrorla's playing. Must be injured.

Scoring and making an assist against United is what I'd call a big game. Oh and scoring against Munich in the home game.

Is funny though, if Ozil was playing like Hazard, Chelski fans would not stop talking, lol, as a Chelski fan i'd be more concerned about your supposedly best player in the EPL.

Probably best not to make the thread if you can't take people finding it stupid after a 5-1 loss.

    Best midfielders in the universe.

To be fair it's harsh to criticise Cazorla or say that he had a bad game last night given he didn't touch the ball. Ozil did touch it but he used his arm.

Ozil was actually pretty damn good last night, considering the fact that we were getting battered. Ozil was excellent on the ball and started off most of our counters. Cazorla makes PL players look like right mugs week in week out, but in Europe he gets found out in that CM posistion.

Yeah because ONE game changes everything? LOL, you're so funny, you were going on about oh Ozil has just a few weeks of good games so we can't make a proper judgement bla bla bla, has one supposedly bad game (when in fact he wasn't that bad), so that proves he's useless....Christ's sake, do you just make your criterias up as you go along?

You have no actual coherent argument to make. You still haven't been able to show why Ozil has underachieved, despite making history as creating the most assists in EPL history with the amount of games he has started, and despite only being behind Messi in the assists charts, and despite being the top assist maker in the country, and despite regularly appearing in the top 5 assist makers in the 3 years he has been with us, oh and 2 FA Cup medals winners is not bad either I'd say.

There is no meltdown, I am talking normal and making legit points, you lot can't even properly respond back so you keep coming up with this 'meltdown' nonsense.

You can't handle a proper football discussion.
