But many do care, that's why they booed, but when people talk about or hacks write about "the united way" they airbrush out the years between Matt Busby and Ferguson., during that time Utd had 5 managers and only Tommy Doc can be credited with a style of play associated with the "United way"

As with any club the managers way comes first, if united would have appointed Mourhino as as lot of Utd fans wanted there's no way he would have played swashbuckling football the same goes for Ancelotti, Utd fans will just have to accept what they get from now on and keep on booing.

 

Nope, seen most of the games over the past year. Seen a tall feller with a head like a microphone that gets on the end of a lot of crosses into the box (you have a similar bloke called Benteke, you should watch him he is good), he also makes a good focus for midfield as he is strong enough to control the ball and lay it off to a team mate when under pressure (sorry, you don't have one of these), he also pops up with quite a few goals.
Where does this hoofball thing come in, I haven't noticed us blindly kicking the ball forward in the hope something happens

Atkinson's teams never played bad football but you could hardly compare it to Busby's or The Doc's.
