Morning all, rather overcast at present, but it supposed to perk up later. Went to Chateauroux yesterday to buy some cupboards, and the town was crawling with all three branches of the police force. To be out in such numbers one suspects that a major operation was underway, but what for I don't know. The local police employ what look like school children on work experience, until you see the guns on their belts. (Yes I know it is an age thing.) The national police seem to have members who have been selected on size and fierce appearance. Certainly would not try messing with them.:emoticon-0145-shake

Mr French, if I WERE a stalker I would not choose Vydra. Comments were made about his Red Ferrari in the car park...well earned I'm sure.

Maybe you should get to know him better and he might give you the Ferrari when he gets fed up with it. I think you might make a good boy racer.

The term 'boy' is much appreciated, but I'm perfectly happy with my Lada. I think I dont want to get to know him, seems to be very unlucky with ''injuries'', hasnt yet been seen around any food banks.Pozzos must be chuckling about Reading FC....I'm chuckling about the ridiculously long contract he was given ..although we surely all know why

Just opened one of my birthday presents...a bottle of Willett Pot Still Reserve Bourbon. No, I'd never heard of it either but it certainly slips down well enough to tempt me to a small second!

While having a hot soak to relieve some aches, I did wonder how much I have been influenced by advertizing. Did I really need the Radox that promises to relax muscle pain, or would the hot water on it's own been just as good? Maybe I should carry out a controlled experiment and find out if I am paying for a nice smell and nothing much else.

Morning all, dull and overnight rain here, but very mild. Should brighten up this afternoon and a very good weekend is forecast. :emoticon-0100-smile

Lots to do today. Finish off the fiddly bits to my bathroom this morning, then floor laying at daughters this afternoon. If all goes to plan wall studding can begin next week along with insulation work to the roof and external walls. Quite why she needed such a large house is a mystery. Probably thought she would get it done cheaply with my €0.00 per hour labour rate.:emoticon-0107-sweat

You need a blindfolded controlled test over at least a 100 baths to come up with a scientific conclusion, maybe if joined by a couple of geisha girls it wouldn't be too boring!!

I am willing to take part in such an experiment.... but do i have to do it blindfold?

(Erm... warning to self... this line of posting could get silly very quickly :emoticon-0182-poolp )

The experiment is almost certain to prove that anything added to your bath water is there to contribute to someone else's profit. As the Romans might have said after one of their famous baths...Radox malorum est cupiditas <laugh>
