Looks to me that he was thrown overboard from the Titanic, and was saved from the cruel sea by landing on a Jerry built raft....unfortunately two minutes after 'landing', Captain Cellino was removed from IMB (it's my boat) Leeds...protesting his innocence (same excuse-different story)....

He fielded a lot of questions, so regardless of media training, still think he answered them well. No mention of the dumb seals though.

Think Ill give the presser a miss. Theres one nearly every month and all it boils down to is talk. Only care about results, starting at Fulham

Evening ristac, as always I hope the new coach turns out to be a success. Let's face it it's another one putting his head on the chopping block for the executioner. Wish him luck, who are going to attract with Cellino as 'manager'. Might as well give Evans our full support, it'll only be for a few weeks after all :emoticon-0158-time:

Come on Eire, it doesn't matter, he can't be worse than what's gone before, and we all know Cellino is the manager anyway. Mind you we could probably afford a top forward with all the dosh we're spending on ex coaches

I didn't like how Evans said he had seen an improvement in Byram on the Tuesday after he took over the reigns on Monday, not even 24 hours later and then picking him. On Thursday last week Evans then said Mowatt was looking more like the player he was last season, again a bit of a questionable comment.

I can't remember a display as poor as the one against Blackburn, we won yesterday so not many questions will be asked, before the kick off many were wondering why we were starting with so many players being played out of position.

I want to like Evans but I can't

I have a memory of him bad-mouthing Leeds when we played Rotherham a while back, what was the exact quote anyone?

I mostly loathe him for comments I can't even remember now. <doh>

Got to agree with Chesh he's been Mr Plausible since he's been here.

He said: “If you are a Dave Hockaday, Darko Milanic or whoever you are – if you take the job under Massimo, you know the rules; he picks the players, you coach the players.

“My interest is the Millers and I pick the players, whether they come, whether they go and our chairman supports that. The minute he doesn’t support it, I go.

“That would be the way it works here and I get fantastic support. I can’t put enough words on it.

“But if you work for Massimo Cellino, you coach the players and get the results from the players he brings in or you pay with your job, that is the way it is.”

Thanks Ristac, sounds all to rational to have inspired the subliminal hate for the man, I'll have a look and see if I can revisit it. Maybe he's really not so bad and I was just being touchy in defeat. <laugh>

He has been linked with a few quotes which he has said he never made.As for Ristacs mention about Byram and Mowatt looking better could be just building up the players to help them rediscover their form. Its his job.Wasn't happy with Byram being dropped for Wootton but he said Byram looked tired in training and his change worked which is what he lives or Dies by.

I just feel you make yourself look an idiot making such claims when you haven't seen them play.

When he comes out with those comments the fans think eh??? so the players must think the same. Maybe Cellino told him to make the changes ;) <ok>

I admit, it will be near impossible for Evans to win me over, I want to give him a chance but I can't stand him so my comments towards him will always be biased.
