So, in the absence of anything to refute what I wrote, your assertion that I was wrong was in fact incorrect?
Can you run it by us all how the .Allams earned the money which the club got for being in the PL? Your analogy about everyone down the road spending my money is laughable. In fact it is pathetic. It bears no relation to the situation st Vity. The Allams are quite entitled to spend the money they have earned through their business as they want. However, even though that money enabled them to lend City money the PL money is not their personal money to spend as though it was. Our lass used to go to games with me until we had kids. Still accompanied me now and again until last season. But never expected me to give up my team for a month every year. We wouldn't have been together for over 40 years if she was the sort who did.
The fact you're doing nothing at all about it apart from whining on here highlights the lack of strength to your angle.
My wife didn't expect anything. Not sure why this is difficult for you to understand, the decision is mine, and you even know why. As do others on here. You are a bright fella, I don't get why you regurgitate that, knowing it doesn't bother me, and knowing it makes you look daft. The money wouldn't have been there at all if they hadn't taken a huge gamble. Its income for the club. They own the club. The money is theirs. It's really that simple. Care to explain why your opinion on how the money they earned should be spent is the one that matters? Actually don't bother, I don't even know why I'm encouraging you to be honest.
To quote the bible "It is more blessed to give (to away supporters at the KC) than to receive” (zilch for City away supporters).
The fact you stated I was wrong but can't actually say what was wrong in what I wrote shows your replies and defence of their decision is just so much hot air.
It isn't that simple. Unless you want to defend the way Hinchcliffe, Buchanan, Bartlett and Duffen carried on.
So as angry and mistreated as you feel, you're doing absolutely **** all about it but whine on here. As long as that's clear.
And still he can't back up his assertion that I was wrong in what I wrote. Presumably you will never, ever complain about something unless you are going to take action to change it. Or, more likely, are you just going to continue to make assertions about people being wrong which you can't back up.
Just out of interest, do we know exactly what the money was spent on to improve our rival supporters match day experience. Has it been accounted for? I know some posters or summat were put up in the concourse. Other than that... It wasn't just used to pay for the changes required for moving away fans into the northeast corner, was it?
I guess if you ignore the bits where I pointed out you get it wrong because you're viewing it from the wrong angle, your replies don't just look like someone doing **** all but whining.
I said we we were the only club who spent all the ASI money on away fans of other clubs and the only one which spent nothing on their own fans who went away. You said I was wrong. Still awaiting your answer to my request for you to inform me what was wrong with those statements.
I'm regretting feeding you on this already but... We were given free scarves and Tshirts. So, your assertion the club spent nothing on us is wrong. No ifs, no buts, you're wrong. 100% not right. Wrong. This was over and above the other money it spent on the away experience at the KC.
Wow. Free scarves and t shirts. £200,000 spent on fans of other clubs and £20 spent on ours. Of course your assertion that the money the club got from the PL was the Allams money as they owned the club was utterly wrong. On that logic Allam could have spent the £200grand on a new Bentley for himself.
What do you expect anyone to do about it? We made our views clear to the club and they accepted them before promptly ignoring them. The rules were explored and it turns out there are none. What else can be done? Your response to it seems to be to pretend you didn't mind all along, while Castro, myself and others have vehemently criticised it. Clearly neither approach will 'achieve' anything. Like anything with the Allams there's no chance for anything to be achieved. Your approach is dishonest at best and seems to be designed purely to irritate people online. It differs entirely with the opinions you've expressed offline. You and Happy don't like negativity, we get it. Thing is no one does. But that isn't a reason to pretend nothing negative ever happens and repeatedly insist everyone's got it wrong with absolutely no explanation when challenged. The ASI was an absolute shambles and you know it same way I do. Even the club employee was embarrassed by the way it was handled. Happy started this with a really daft windup post. A few of us fell for it and here we are. Bet he's delighted. Meanwhile City's loyal support continues to die but it's OK as long we keep winning and no one says anything nasty about those poor Allams.
Plt, you correctly put 'nothing can be done'. Part of the reason is, despite the claims of you and others, the club didn't do anything against the rules, in fact, the prem seemed to like it. Whining about it as you are, is dishonest and counter productive, as is trying to imply I didn't mind. That's just bullshit in itself. . It's **** all to do with being pro-Allam. Your constant anyu-Allam whining is often inaccurate anyway, but you just keep on whining. On this topic, it's done, for ****s sake just move on and try for something positive, instead of trying to drag everyone down into your obsessive misery.
FFS, you're still ****ing wrong. My point was that this bit you're hanging your misery on is the wrong way of looking at it because you and others got the rules wrong to start with. So WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO, OTHER THAN WHINE ON HERE?
No ! I think the best scenario is new owners coming in stating they have no intention of changing the name. I think that will get all supporters on their side. I do not think even the most pro Allamists will be sad to see that happen.
