what have I missed? other than around 2,000 posts on here

 

as usual I'm 24 hours too late, but thinking of Wealdstone, did anyone else ever go to Lower Mead (old ground, now Tesco Harrow)

I used to also follow Barnet very occasionally in what was then the Alliance Premier League I think - went to see the stones vs barnet for a bank holiday derby day

I've been there just the once. A very long time ago, for reasons I have forgotten, I went to watch the Stones play Hastings in a Southern League match. At the time, Hastings were romping away with the competition and were awsome in their 6-0 demolition of the home team. Couldn't tell you what the attendance was, but the ground was packed - mainly with Hastings fans.

 

rob do not worry about not visiting we all go through periods at work, holidays or other reasons for not being here.

Evening All, a very frustrating day. I needed some bits and bobs for some plumbing. Looking on line I find that I cannot get them sent but will have to go to my local store. Travelled up to said store 50 miles away to find that they do not have them, in fact cannot ever remember having them. Come back and find that I cannot send an e-mail to ask which of the other branches might have them, as they don't answer that type of question.

Trying a different approach I find someone else that has the bits I want. The big problem then is that they are in China and want to send a container load, whereas I want four pieces.

Along with my on going computer problems, the rain that is trying to make up for lost time and a rapidly shrinking wine store, not a happy man tonight.

 

Frenchie I get my motorbike spares from china , postage is reasonable , quality is ok and it saves me about 75% off the local price ! Why not try it once and see what happens , but search on wholesale chinese sites!!
