I think there were no fixed rules, as the PL never anticipated scum bags like the Allams to commit such an atrocity.
Perhaps you should suggest it to the owners Dutch, not that they'd listen. Absolutely none of our supporters would have wished for the various stand offs, it would make a vast difference to the whole vibe around the club if they were to act as if they cared about the lifeblood of the club. I understand why you're posting what you're posting but many supporters need a reason to believe, and not simply Hull Tigers scarves draped on away seats. What's needed, as I said before, is a magnanimous gesture from the Allam's to get ALL of the support onside and pulling in the same direction. Do you think we'll get one?
As you don't believe we'll get one, what mileage is there in expecting one? Surely fans should be pushing the positives, instead of repeating things that were not true in the first place? Fans creating negatives when they didn't exist play their part in the divisiveness. We don't live in a perfect world, nobody does. We've all got to make the best out of the cards we're dealt.
As I said Dutch, fans need to be given a reason to believe. There have been mistakes on both sides, who will ever forget the totally idiotic hip flask stunt?! I'm not saying that it's one sided, it isn't and hasn't been, I'm just hoping that the Allam's can use their brilliant business brains to unite the whole club, or at least make an effort to.
Why wait for them to initiate things? The first thing we as fans can do is to stop searching for negatives, and to certainly stop inventing them.
Like the way the Allams make the best of the cards they are dealt? Which appears to be taking the deck home if the hand isn't to their liking. The ASI showed their incompetence and contempt for fans. An opportunity to give something to their own fans funded by someone else's money. A gesture which would have given the impression their own fans were important to them no they appreciated those who spent time and money travelling to away games and whose support is appreciated by the players. Instead they alone of the 20 chairmen chose to not spend a penny on their own fans. It could be taken as a deliberate provocation at worst and ineptness at best. Something which could so easily have been avoided and improved relations. Still, it is the job of fans to make rapprochements isn't it?
It wasn't someone else's money, and as the prem quoted it as a success, the incompetent bit's wrong too. It's also a great example of a pointless and negative whinge. Haters have got to hate.
So, unlike the other 19 chairmen, who used money out of that given to them by the PL the Allams paid to improve the match day experience of away fans out of their onwbank accounts? The incompetent bit is quite correct. What the PL,thought is irrelevant. They managed to turn an opportunity for good relations with their own fans into yet another one to show their contempt. Lickspittles have to lick spittle.
What a load of bollocks. Go on then, other than whine about things you've got wrong anyway, what exactly are you going to do?
The money "given" to them is theirs. Not sure why you have a problem comprehending that. You seem quite bright. Were you always so free and easy with your wages/income? Wife notwithstanding, who can obviously spend your money with nary a care. Oh that probably doesn't count for you thinking about it. Cuff her round the ear, give her 20 quid for housekeeping and bugger off t'pub. Regardless of if you agree with what they did or not, they broke no rules, they spent it as they saw fit, and it didn't bother as many people as some of you seem to think. They also went above what others spent with the free gizzits at a couple of games. 2 quid off an away ticket? Erm, thanks, I'll be fine. Cheapo Tiger Travel? Thanks. Every game for me is an away game remember too. Dutch is right, regurgitating this personal vendetta is tiresome and serves no one well at all. It's futile, it's pointless and it just perpetuates the same bad feeling by the same bitter little people. Especially with the sneering name calling at the end of every boring post about it.
I was more lucky with my wife than some. She likes football and wouldn't expect me to give up watching them for a month every year. Some others, including yourself and DMD would do well to heed your last sentence. The Allams must be pleased to know that they have all this cash on hand to buy new cars with, maybe a helicopter or two and pay for round the world cruises.
What did I get wrong then? How many of the other nineteen chairmen spent all the ASI money on fans of other clubs? How many didn't spend a penny on their own fans?
If the Allams have done it wrong, you should have some recourse. As you clearly have no recourse and the prem mention the spend as a positive, your angle is wrong. So, other than whine about something you cannot change, what are you going to do about it? There are plenty people share as positives, sadly some want to labour negatives, seemingly to no end other than to create more disharmony.
Yeah real ****ter that they can spend the money they've earned on things they want. Comrade Castro, I feel your pain. Your missus might have been happy for you to be out as much as possible, in some respects I can't blame her tbh, but I'm quite certain you'd want some say occasionally on how your wages were spent. Or did you really only spend your money once your missus and everyone in your road had agreed on what you could spend it on? Now, doesn't this all seem silly, and circular, and achieving the square root of **** all? What are you hoping to achieve with the constant negativity and the banging of the same futile drum?
Oh here he is. Mr Black n Amber through and through, cut him and he bleeds amber etc. Just to save any future confusion, can you let us know which of your faces you're posting with? The relative of the OSC Director. The Hull Utd season ticket holder. The Allam Out one. The HCST Director one. The Hull City Supporter one. Thanks very much.
