If we had a decent back up RB, we could've played Bellerin as a right wing forward (his original position) but this won't happen because of the aforementioned reason and 2, we're away from home against the best side in Europe.

Wenger would never take that risk.

It's crazy how far Debuchy's level has dropped from being France's No 1 and keeping Sagna out of the WC XI to now being kept out by a teenager, not being trusted even in injury crises' and struggling to cope with Sheffield Wednesday!

We do have Bellerin as well....
You took the words right out of my mouth. He would make a good right winger but with the added advantage of being a very good defender. It's a shame that Debuchy is playing pants at the moment, otherwise it would make a good defensive/counter-attacking formation, having those two play on the right. But Campbell has shown he isn't so bad at tracking back from the Swansea game, so hopefully he can keep that intensity going.

Debuchy hasn't suddenly turned into a terrible player. This is a guy who up until he broke his leg was France's number 1 right back ahead of Sagna and Aurier.
He was injured for a long time and probably needs a good run of games to get any kind of form back.

He's still a very good player. Unfortunately for him though we have Bellerin who is quickly becoming one of the World best fullbacks.

Bellerin is out so looks like we are ****ed.

(Grasping at straws) but a tiny positive is that reine-Adelaide is back...

FFS. And we once again undo our own season. How does this keep happening season after season? Every team gets injuries but not as consistently as we do.

A real bloody joke. The physios have to get replaced.

Debuchy is a decent RB just terribly out of form. Campbell came in vs. Swansea and had a great game and if Debuchy wants to prove he should b starting here's his chance. Still think a draw is the most likely result.

Don't think anyone can deny there is something clearly wrong with this club's medical team and training methods. It's a ****ing joke and unacceptable to have the current injury list we have, those ****ing clowns need to be embarrassed at themselves. Why the **** doesn't Wenger sort it out? What kind of dumb ****ing training methods is he playing at? Either he isn't properly allowing these players to work on strengthening, which is why their muscles keep going, or is he playing at some next level of dumbness with the type of training he is doing.

I think a loss is the most likely result. We will have to put in a good performance just to get a draw.

Agreed, don't see how a draw is a most likely result? We're not playing some pub team, we are playing the best team in Europe, away from home, with a squad that is so depleted, and we have no options at all.

It is very worrying as besides not being able to use the same weapons as last time (counter attacking pace mainly through Theo) we also haven't got a settled back 4 at a time when it is crucial that our defence operates seamlessly. Then, of course, there's the small matter of facing a wounded Bayern in their home stadium at a time when they are one of the top two teams in the world!

Still I'll be cheering us on! COYG

A draw would be a miracle. A loss would be realistic. I'll be still cheering us on of course but it looks like a massacre is afoot.

I think we'll lose unfortunately. Still, I was wrong the last time, but it's very hard to be optimistic with all the injuries. I just hope we are not hammered and put in a decent showing. Gutted to lose Bellerin.... dunno why we can't keep our players fit. It's the only thing stopping us from competing properly, season after season. So annoyed.

Losing Bellerin is another massive blow, Debuchy is not that bad, but Bellerin with his pace would have given us an outlet, Debuchy gives us nothing going forward and our backs will be well and truly up against the wall in this game.

Starting to get worrying with our mounting injury list. We seem to have moved forward apart from the injury side of things. How will we ever be able to challenge for the highest honours when our players drop like flies. Bellerin is a big loss and his forward runs with pace will be sorely missed, let's hope that Debuchy puts in a good shift and comes back to some form.

The positive thing is that we should have Walcott, Chamberlain and Bellerin back after the international break. Tonight's game is not a complete disaster if we lose. The only thing we should be concerned about is winning the derby at the weekend and getting three points before the international break. We can then return fired up for an easier round of fixtures.

It's not at all, as long as we give a good account of ourselves and don't disgrace ourselves, then i'll be happy. This will help us move forward in the league too.

Losing Walcott and Bellerin on the right for this game is a big blow. Personally, whilst I'd like to have seen us try and press Bayern tonight, I think we'll get murdered without the pace of those two. We might just have to park the bus and show Chelsea how it's done.

Not confident at all. They'll play Costa down Debuchy's side. He will have to be positionally 100% accurate to deal with that threat. And what about Robben? Going to to be very very tough to get anything tonight.
