"Utd without Fergie don't have the same appeal."

Was it not Fergie himself who stated that he coveted Modric, but after Levy
put Man Utd thru the ringer over Berbatoss, he didn't even wanna get started
    on that one.

“We were up until midnight signing and faxing papers to make sure all the paperwork went through before the deadline expired.

“That whole experience was more painful than my hip replacement.”

Odd choice of names you pick for loyalty: the guy who is currently playing for LA Galaxy (and was set to sign for Chelsea ten years ago), somebody who jumped from Southampton to Blackburn to Newcastle over the space of four years, and the bloke in the City youth team who decided to play for Man Utd when Alex Ferguson showed up on his doorstep - even stranger when Jamie Carragher spent his whole career at your club!

Seriously, I certainly wouldn't go there with The Dutch robot in charge, if I were Kane.

Not that it's going to happen. It's red top bollocks, as usual!...

Be pedantic if you like, shearer turned down utd probably when they were at their best for his boyhood club, he didn't leave Newcastle did he? No.

Gerrard regardless of bids from Chelsea has never played for Chelsea as far as I know? Perhaps you're watching a different league?

I know it hurts to admit you have absolutely nothing to offer harry in terms of having a glittering career, nope, all you've got is "he's playing wiv his mates ffs in a stadium that doesn't even exist :D

Shearer didn't turn down Man Utd for his boyhood club, he turned them down in favour of Blackburn.

Since you're doing your best impersonation of a Man Utd fan with your obnoxious sense of entitlement for other clubs' players moving to Old Trafford (which is no doubt informed by Liverpool fans' obnoxious sense of entitlement for other clubs' players moving to Anfield...) let me shatter the myth that all players want to sign for Man Utd with a short list of high profile players who rejected signing for the club in favour of somebody else during Ferguson's reign.

1988: Man Utd wanted to sign Paul Gascoigne, he signed for Spurs
1992: Man Utd wanted to sign Alan Shearer, he signed for Blackburn
1994: Man Utd wanted to sign Ronaldo, he signed for PSV Eindhoven
1998: Man Utd wanted to sign Marcelo Salas, he signed for Lazio
1999: Man Utd wanted to sign Gabriel Batistuta, he remained at Fiorentina before joining Roma a season later
2003: Man Utd wanted to sign Ronaldinho, he signed for Barcelona
2005: Jon Obi Mikel signed for Man Utd...then changed his mind and signed for Chelsea instead
2007: Man Utd wanted to sign Gareth Bale, he signed for Tottenham

...that's not including players who signed for other major clubs (such as Varane to Los Ladrones do Madrid or Thomas Muller signing a professional contract with Bayern aged 16) or for clubs with a bottomless pit of money to play with (such as Cech and Drogba joining Chelsea) - and the list gets so much longer if you include players who rejected Man Utd when Moyes and Van Galling were in charge.

When facts undermine everything you've said, why should anyone listen to your opinion?

Yes, you are wrong. here's that list again, with a little more detail as apparently it was too subtle for you...
Gascoigne and Bale believed Spurs offered more than Manchester United
Shearer believed Blackburn offered more than Manchester United
Ronaldo believed PSV Eindhoven offered more than Manchester United
Salas believed Lazio offered more than Manchester United
Batistuta preferred to stay at Fiorentina as he believed they offered more than Manchester United

Just to let you know, once I post this response you'll be joining several other Scousers on my ignore list for the same reason I added all of them: spouting ****e.

Its nice to be the first one there, be that buying a brand new car, taking a woman's virginity or in Kanes case, the first English striker to lead out the team he grew up with, in the new world class stadium, The teams you mention can't offer him this, so for now we get to Keep Kane as he has no desire to move.

Southampton are the academy team for Man Utd/Liverpool/Arsenal - a truth which continues to elude their fans as they look down upon us from that cross of theirs - just like a few years ago the Manchester clubs were taking it in turns to pick apart Villa's squad.

We must keep our young talent and not sell them to a PL rival.
If you need any more proof of that, just look at the goal that Raheem Sterling
scored for the Poool yesterday in their CL game.

    "Scousers"

Based on their current GD, they should be on 16 pts.
So the Klopp effect has already got them punching above their weight to push
    Everton off 8th place. <applause>
