Same team same subs? Difficult one to call without knowing the fitness of the lads. Maybe Bruce will rest Bruce with an eye on Boro on Saturday. As long as we dont take our eye off the ball for this one. They're on a bit of a run.
Akpom was getting a bit petulant again on Saturday, rest him and get Mo back in?
Clucas wasnt at the races either. Some big calls to make.
Hudd needs to play game to keep his fitness up, wouldnt be surprised to see him start.

    Greegsy
    Dave Dawson Bruce Robbo
    Elmo Meyler Jake Clucas
    Akpom Hernandez
    Or

    Greegsy
    Dave Dawson Maguire Robbo
    Elmo Jake Hudd Clucas
    Diame
    Hernandez

I'm going for a 3-0 win for us

    For you stattos.
They seem to think Hudd will start and Abel rested. Not sure myself.
    TEAM NEWS
Brentford's midfielder Alan Judge is a doubt after limping off against QPR so Konstantin Kerschbaumer, Sergi Canos or Lasse Vibe may start.

Josh McEachran (foot), Jota (ankle) and Andreas Bjelland (knee) remain long-term absentees.

Hull could rest striker Abel Hernandez but Tom Huddlestone is set to start.

Curtis Davies (calf), Robert Snodgrass (knee) and Adama Diomande (groin) all remain sidelined.

    MATCH FACTS
    • Brentford have failed to keep a clean sheet in nine of their last 10 home league clashes with Hull.
    • There hasn't been a draw between these two sides in the league since October 1983 (eight wins for Brentford and seven for Hull).
    • Hull have conceded a league-low eight goals so far this season. They've also kept the most clean sheets along with Preston (7).
    • The Bees have won their last four league games, keeping a clean sheet in each of the last three.

Difficult to see changes, but there was a hint he might freshen things up a bit. I would keep with the same team, but it would be good to see Diame and Maloney in the team.

A change is as good as a rest.

Diame for someone who looks like they need a rest.

    We'll win, it's a habit. 2 to nil.

Brentford is a tight pitch, a typical 'old ground' where the supporters are close to the action. After Saturday and with Middlesboro coming up I would be tempted to play Diame from the off and stick Chuba on the bench. That said Meyler got clattered into a couple of times so if he's carrying any niggles I would save him for Boro and stick Diame into his role. This is not a game to consider bringing Hudds back into from the start as suggested in some quarters. Certainly a game were we should be using all 3 subs in the last 30 mins.

This is a game for Livermore and Meyler

low scoring, wouldn't be surprised to see a 0-0 and would be happy with that but if our quality and finishing come to the fore, we'll nick it

Normally I would agree John. But we have a much bigger game on Saturday so I would make changes.

Harry Maguire for Alex Bruce who has a hamstring issue reports suggest.

Bring in Diame - Maloney and Huddlestone and Rest Clucas - Akpom and Hernandez.

Flood midfield, stifle Brentford and hit them on the break.

Brentford have a doubt over Alan Judge and they also have Josh McEachran - Jota and Bjelland Out.

    However,

Whatever team SB picks I do expect a Tigers Win. It may not be pretty tonight but cares with a win.

Top spot could be ours. Gung ho football is not always the best option / plan.

    UTT.

Bearing in mind the unrelenting recent schedule, plus next Saturday’s game, it surely is prudent at this time to rotate the quality that we have at our disposal, we must be the best-equipped club in this league to do this, and surely some advantage will thus be gained.
