Even a %70 fit Sandro is a better option than Henry! Never rated henry as a footballer before or during his time at qpr. I believe he gained a reputation of being able to 'break up play' by constantly getting booked and sent off during his time at Wolves. Surely to god any footballer is capable of running around and attempting to make tackles!
To add to my point above, give Doughty a run in the team and let's see a bit of passion and desire from someone who wants to progress and make a career rather than someone who knows he's coming to the end of his!!
Doughty deserves a run. Has never looked out of place when he's played. Far better pace and engine than Toszer. Far better with the ball than Henry. Peter, posting an article from 7 weeks ago doesn't prove much. If Sandro was fit he'd play. He played at Birmingham and was dross.
Sandro is fit. The article in the standard has been leaked by Sandro or his agent because he hasn't been selected. An article like that just would not come out with that sort of timing (not as if transfer window is imminent) Don't think the club doesn't put out its own propaganda to protect the manager who seemingly can't get over the fall out the management had with Sandro at Spurs so plays Henry and even Toszer instead The article from 7 weeks ago are entirely relevant as his beliefs haven't changed since then and as far as I can see no one managed to explain why Toszer and Angella could walk into the team but Sandro couldn't And as has been pointed out others not playing at times for Henry would also be better (Faurlin, Doughty, Luongo, Fer, and when Austin was fit JET)
Here you go, just before MK Dons in fact: Official on team for MK 24/10 "October 24 2015 3:00 PM BREAKING TEAM NEWS One change for QPR this afternoon as Karl Henry replaces the injured Sandro" Official 2 Nov " May also confirmed midfielder Sandro is likely to miss Tuesday's clash against Derby County, adding: “Sandro picked up an injury in training last week, an impact injury to his right ankle. "
Sandro's first game for the u21's was on the 14th of September when he played an hour and a half against Coventry. Then on the 22nd he played an hour against Crewe, as did Fer. On the offy they said he was building up his match fitness after the visa debacle and hadn't quite got there yet.
I thought that was why CR was brought in...to work with the kids?.............It seems he cant......... or wont work with experienced players
Add to that........He seems to be ignoring the kids and picking the OLD and not necessary any good so we are F******!!
Is that the same site that says that Traore has a 'groin strain'? Difference there is its an excuse the player probably goes along with. The story in the Standard doesnt come from no where and whats gone on since he came back from the Visa issue only supports that Nope. Sandro's first game was 8th September. He played an hour http://www.qpr.co.uk/news/article/friendly-report-reading-qpr-2676545.aspx
As ever the truth is probably somewhere in the middle. For sure Ramsey has a blind spot regarding our problems in midfield and his continuing selection of Henry and Toszer when we are continually failing to hold the ball for more than a few seconds is ludicrous. Based on his disastrous performances in the second half of our Premier League campaign however, Sandro may not be the answer as he lacks both fitness and determination and Ramsey is best placed to know this.
No surprise about Sandro - he was scheduled to have started training again this last week. And with Henry apparently filling in at RB it's logical. Hope Luongo comes on when Sandro is injured again....
